In routed mode on isolated networks and VPCs the CloudStack VR no longer provides Source NAT, allowing for end-users to create purely routed networks, significantly improving network bandwidth and potentially allowing for public IPs to be allocated to user VMs without operator intervention. Freida Huya-Kouadio and their team have just released a port of Godot Engine the standalone Meta Quest headset. Just tried creating a quick prototype, and it works so good! Especially with the experimental multitasking mode on #MetaQuest3. Everything made and running directly on a Quest 3 without any other computers involved. Just a Bluetooth keyboard connected. Testing out new features of the Voxon Photonics VLED SDK with a retro-futuristic "Way of the Exploding Fist / IK+" mashup. In our latest experiment, we tested a 180-degree game area, using the background for props, a departure from our usual full 360-degree approach. The demo was used in optimizing real-time lighting and shadows, intentionally leaving characters untextured for now.
