From groundbreaking campaigns to unforgettable moments of fun, including: 🚀 450+ Brand/Digital Campaigns: I’ve had the privilege of analyzing and planning 450+ campaigns across global markets. Each campaign was a new opportunity for me to innovate and create. 🏊♂️ Different Sport Activities: I’ve experienced 10 different sport activities on campus. If I can smoothly swim for hours, I can definitely manage a Monday meeting! 🌍 Countless data to analyse: I had the chance to play a crucial role in strategically planning global digital plans, by developing strategic frameworks leveraging data-driven insights, contributing to the brand's success and growth across multiple regions. 🎉 Events, events, events: so many on and off campus events and corporate parties I’ve attended. Connecting, celebrating, and dancing— sometimes all in one night! 📁 1 unbelievable achievement: Finally cracking the code to file naming conventions. It’s official - my six year run at Nike is over! Whilst the finish line came up faster than I would have liked, my time there was nothing short of a personal best. 🌟 The very fact I still feel that way after six years is a testament to the people, the brand and the workplace. I can honestly say I’ve had some of my very best times there, have learnt a huge amount and am thankful for so many aspects of this journey. In no particular order: - Alex Coidan for firing the starting pistol, bringing me onto the team and Anne Newton for being so thoughtful and helping me to finish strong. 🙏 - My wonderful Analytics LT colleagues, who taught me so much about being a real “team of team leaders” 🤝 - Donna Orman and team for teaching me the secrets of Loyalty and Membership. 🏆 - The Global teams in WHQ: Sean Bruich (he/him) for the super-fun and insightful visits, and Adam Garren for the amazing partnership (both remotely and in-person!). 📈 - The fantastic teams I’ve managed and mentored over the years - particularly those I’m proud to see growing their careers elsewhere (Aline Neven, Lorenzo Rabbia, Dane Van Arkel) 🚀 - My partner in crime from day 1 Gianluca Rago, who pushed me to be both a better analyst and a stronger leader (and made all the crazy offsites even more fun). 🤩 - All the workouts, gym time, running and spinning sessions with so many colleagues, living the brand and Just Doing It! 💪 Now that run is over, and I’m back from an amazing 6 weeks exploring South America with my family, it’s time to look for the next challenge - happy to hear from anyone either here in the Netherlands or across Europe if you think you can help me start the next relay! After 13 remarkable years at adidas, I’ve made the decision to end my journey with the three stripes 👟 and embark on a new chapter. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how much has changed since I joined adidas in 2012 as a trainee. Back then, we were a small but ambitious team working on web and mobile projects, with the entire Digital organization being just a fraction of its current size. There was no Confirmed app, no adidas app, no Hype and the vibrant campus at the headquarters in Herzogenaurach that we know today was still a vision in progress. Reflecting on my journey, I’ve been fortunate to contribute to transformative milestones across the digital ecosystem: - Publishing and optimizing adidas & Reebok apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play. - Developing scalable and reusable app components to facilitate registration/login or the lookup of retail stores. - Launching innovative campaigns and mobile experiences, including ZX Flux, adidas Go, and the Snapshot app. - Pioneering new business models, such as the groundbreaking and award-winning Glitch program in adidas Football. ⚽ - Enhancing membership programs with Early Access features and engaging rewards. - Improving the adidas app with co-creation, retail reservations and pick-up processes. 🛒 - Building a cutting-edge product launch platform and hype mechanics across web and mobile channels to release highly-demanded products. 🔥 - Leading the Confirmed app, offering the best of adidas Originals and its partners through a premium fashion boutique. 💙 Each project came with its unique challenges, but what truly stands out is the unparalleled talent, passion, and collaboration I’ve had the privilege to witness and be part of. I’m deeply grateful to my colleagues, mentors, and partners for their trust, support and inspiration throughout this journey. To all my adidas friends: Thank You for making this experience unforgettable. Your creativity, camaraderie, and dedication have left a lasting impact on me! While leaving after more than a decade is bittersweet, I’m excited for what lies ahead.
