🔬 What people think scientists do...
"RESEARCH"
👩🔬👨🔬 What scientists actually do?
A WHOLE LOT MORE than people realize!
Sure, we conduct experiments and collect data.
But that's just the beginning!
Here’s the real list:
➡️ Planning and coordinating projects, documenting every detail? Yep.
➡️ Analyzing results, updating on latest innovations? You bet.
➡️ Testing new tech, and training new teammates? Absolutely.
➡️ Managing inventory, lab equipment and ordering supplies? Always.
➡️ Collaborating across sites, cleaning lab benches? Every. Single. Day.
And it goes on…
Being a scientist is juggling a hundred different roles.
It’s equal parts researcher, planner, manager, communicator, and problem-solver. And it’s all in a day’s work.
To all the scientists out there - Your work is SEEN and APPRECIATED. 🙌
Let’s give a shoutout to the multitasking magic that happens behind the scenes of every experiment, every discovery!
If you’re a scientist, what’s one surprising task on your to-do list today? Drop it in the comments! ⬇️
