I've been calling out "compliance agility" and its strategic importance as a matter of competitive positioning for years. What is "compliance agility?" Simply put, it's your firm's capacity to achieve and demonstrate adherence to emerging requirements faster than others. In the case of CMMC, we've seen firms being dismissive in public while frantically shoring up their controls in time for the final rule.
