Yesterday was a special day for us - it was our first conference, hx Live. It was amazing to see the packed-out attendance (sorry to the 100+ waiting list, we'll get a bigger venue next time!), energy, and engagement from the start of my keynote with Noel Sequeira our Technology leader, through to the end when attendees headed over to St Pauls for our Summer Party. It was also special because we talked about AI publicly for the first time - hyperexponential's philosophy, approach, and the products we've already started building and will be shipping imminently.   I've written more about this in my blog post in the comments below; formal product announcements to come in more detail very soon!

After Bits & Pretzels is before the next big challenges for digital transformation! 🌐 It was less than two weeks ago that I visited Germany's most exciting trade fair for founders and people interested in disruptive technology. For me personally, it was great to see how much innovative enthusiasm and drive there is in the European startup scene. Of course, high-ranking CEOs and ministers from the German government were also present. One speech by Christian Lindner, Germany’s Minister of Finance, stuck in my mind in particular: “We can only create the framework conditions in Germany, but we can't decide which technologies are used and which are the best for the market.” A remarkable statement in my view. It is almost a given that AI plays a major role when it comes to sustainable business models. From personalized advertising and medical diagnostics to industrial process automation, the topic is already playing a role in countless areas. And of course we at Portainer.io also benefit from this market, because all AI applications must run somewhere and be managed somehow. We have many customers who distribute their AI applications via Portainer. In the age of artificially intelligent gold excavations, we are the digital shovel manufacturer, so to speak, which also profits substantially from AI gold mines as a secondary industry. But regardless of all the digital topics, the analog on-site conversations should not be missed out. And so it was of course very nice to meet several customers from the greater Munich area and our partners Peter Klement and Softing Industrial Automation in the same week as well! After all, if Bits & Pretzels falls during the Oktoberfest, a fun evening with good colleagues should be on the program at least once.
