Like many of us with young families, Rob from Queensland understands the importance of raising three kids with strong values. There are countless influences on our kids these days, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by them. Rob found it challenging to find positive content that aligned with his faith. With the constant flood of media, it was difficult to ensure his children were exposed to uplifting, family friendly messages. That’s how V180 became a real game-changer for his family. ‘It’s so refreshing to be able to turn on the radio and get good music and good content,’ said Rob. With V180, Rob found a way to bring hope and encouragement into his home. The Vision app gave him access to trusted Christian radio and media, helping his children connect with their faith through music, devotionals and podcasts. This has made a big difference in their lives, building a strong foundation of faith that Rob hopes will last for generations. ‘Turning on the Vision app is like having church with us every day,’ Rob said. ‘The music and programs not only entertain my kids but also teach them about Jesus in a way that’s meaningful.’ Rob’s story is a testament to the power of V180 in advancing the Gospel together. He encourages other parents to embrace this resource and invest in their children’s spiritual growth. ‘It’s not just for now; it’s for their future and the future of those who come after them.’ A donation to Vision is far more than just a transaction. It’s an investment in helping people focus on God’s Word. Something that will change their life and last for all eternity. You can respond now on the phone at 1800 316 316, at vision.org.au or in the free Vision Christian Media app. You’ll be helping people look to God daily as we believe and work together.

One of the greatest privileges of my work with the Florida United Methodist Foundation is the opportunity to visit congregations and have vision conversations about how churches can plan for the future. During visits since the beginning of the year, I have spoken with congregations struggling financially who want to kick-start an estate planning program to prompt church members to remember their church in the final plans. It's unfortunately common for organizations, including churches, to address important matters like estate planning only when they're facing financial difficulties. There could be several reasons behind this tendency. For one, people might not think about estate planning until they're forced to confront their mortality or the possibility of financial instability. Additionally, there may be a lack of awareness or reluctance to discuss these topics, especially in religious settings where the focus may be more on spiritual matters than financial ones. However, proactive planning can help churches and their members ensure financial stability and support the organization's mission in the long term. Encouraging discussions about estate planning early on can be beneficial for both the church and its members. When a church faces financial challenges, members may be less inclined to include it in their wills or estate plans. In such situations, individuals might prioritize providing for their own families or supporting organizations they perceive as more stable or impactful. This underscores the importance of fostering a strong sense of community and connection within the church. Members who feel a deep bond with their faith community and believe in its mission and impact are more likely to include the church in their estate planning regardless of its financial situation. It's also essential for churches to communicate openly and transparently about their financial health and long-term plans. By demonstrating responsible stewardship of resources and showing how donations and bequests contribute to the church's sustainability and mission, they can inspire greater trust and support from their members. Moreover, churches can proactively educate their members about the importance of estate planning and legacy giving, emphasizing how these actions can help ensure the continuity of the church's work for future generations. By engaging in these conversations early and consistently, churches can cultivate a culture of generosity and support that transcends financial ups and downs. The Florida United Methodist Foundation remains committed to supporting our ministry partners to not just succeed today, but to be prepared to thrive in the future. #Ministry #Generosity #FaithfulStewardship

This short article does an excellent job of framing up a few questions to reflect on how we are using the gifts God has so graciously given us to advance His Kingdom and, in turn, bring us more joy while we are here on earth. We are called to be good stewards of the gifts we've been given, as 1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." And as 1 Timothy 6:7 reminds us, "For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world." Our time here is temporary, and we are entrusted to use what we’ve been given wisely for God's purposes. It’s surprising how many folks aren’t aware of the National Christian Foundation or what it can do - I didn’t discover NCF until 2017, and it’s been an absolute game-changer for me. NCF might be one of the best-kept secrets out there, but it definitely shouldn't be a secret! Many, including myself, are frustrated with how our government allocates resources, particularly when it comes to inefficient or unnecessary spending. Why not take control over where your hard-earned dollars go and direct them toward the non-profits and causes you're passionate about supporting? If you’re interested in plugging in with an amazing community and exploring how to steward your financial resources (whether public securities, real estate or ownership in your own company) - in a tax-efficient way, please reach out to Joel Smyer, Becky Cullum (Broadfoot), Jim Caldwell, CWS® and Elrette Anderson. As Chairman of the Board of NCF North Texas, I’m proud to say we have an amazing team that can help guide you through this process with Kingdom impact in mind. Equally important, the opportunity to connect with a like-minded community has been incredibly life-giving, providing encouragement and support along the journey.

What if the world's wealthiest people decided to stop ignoring the intentional structure of the negative impacts of legislative actions which created both slavery and wealth gaps through financially oppressions to opportunities to keep the nation, culture and lineages of Black people as the laborers a nation of people with lineage ties to their enslaved ancestors. What if the philanthropist decided it is time to actually free those descendants mentally form the disparaging slanders to their dignity as humans from the start of the history of this nation which created financial oppressions and targeted legislative actions to keep them as a permanent under class of laborers with little means to get out of that financial trap? What if philanthropist began to address and support the enduring descendants black people in this nation whose national lineage and culture is tied to the history of intentional targeting and denials of wealth building opportunities, housing, education suppressions would the mindsets start to change, would crime go down would other Americans feel more at ease from the disease of racisms oppressions? What if philanthropist commit to an experiment to do something different like dedicate and take forty percent of their philanthropic giving over the next four years to a reparations trust fund to make an impact towards closing and dismantling the Black American wealth gaps build on the nations sordid history of harm, greed, inequities and denials specifically tied to the gaps and denials in the labor and pay for the enslaved peoples toils and that of the toils of their descendants. What if those funds were disbursed to eligible individuals and given as none taxable none income counted for other general benefits like social security, disability and retirements income eligibility for housing. Imagine it as RBI-Reprieve basic monthly stipends for 40 months renewable if needed to relieve some of history's financial stress. Imagine that it would provide more resource opportunities with less financial stress making them open to learning, getting more skills and investing to help close the wealth gap. Imagine it making the nation safer for everybody. We are 4-40-400.net project inspired by a man who had a dream that deserves actions. He was murdered on 4-4 wake up your support for the dream he left in our laps as descendants.

Thank you Mrs Still for your testimony relating to The S.T.A.R. (SMART TALENTED AWESOME RESPECTED) Program! Who is the Program for? 1. Those who compare themselves to others 2. Those with low (or too high) self esteem 3. Those who feel they ae not educated enough to make a positive difference in their lives and the world. The program is designed to benefit individuals in their early teens to Baby Boomers, students, seasoned professionals, and even stay-at-home moms/dads. Why? Because people of all ages are hurting and need a "positive New Normal." This program is self-paced, easy to comprehend, and created for individual use or in group settings. The program makes an excellent resource for personal/professional development. It also serves well as a resource for organizations that desire to improve the quality of life for the people they employ. You can take advantage of this online program that is transforming lives! Or you can make a donation so other young people or older adults will be blessed by your giving.

3 Misconceptions About Mission Work: 1. Mission Work Is Only Overseas: Many people think of mission work as exclusively happening in distant, foreign countries. However, mission work is not confined to international settings. It can be just as vital and impactful when conducted locally or within one's own community. This work involves addressing local needs, supporting nearby underprivileged areas, and engaging with local populations to create transformation and Spiritual growth. 2. Mission Work Is Just About Preaching: Some may think mission work is solely about preaching. However, it is much more than that—it's about action and love in action. Mission work involves meeting physical, emotional, and Spiritual needs, providing support and compassion, and actively transforming the lives of individuals and communities. 3. Mission Work Doesn't Require Professional Skills: There's a misconception that mission work is only about goodwill and does not require specific skills or expertise. In reality, many mission projects thrive on the diverse professional skills of their volunteers and staff, including medical professionals, educators, builders, administrators, and marketers. Effective mission work leverages these skills to better meet the complex and varied needs of the communities they serve. At Potter's House Ministries, we need you! 🙏 We covet your prayers and your donations, and we also will soon be needing your expertise here on the field. Join us in transforming lives through Christ's love. Together, we can provide care, education, and hope. Visit our website and sign up for our newsletter to stay connected and support our mission. Cultivating a Culture of Generosity: Insights for Church Leaders Recent research from the UK has unveiled a significant opportunity for increased giving among Christian communities. This study offers valuable insights for church leaders seeking to nurture a culture of generosity. Key Findings: •Practicing Christians have the potential to donate 3.5 times more than current levels. •Trust is a crucial factor: 76% of regular donors have high trust in their church. •Major giving obstacles: financial constraints and skepticism about fund utilization. As a stewardship consultant, I recognize that unlocking this potential requires intentional leadership. Here are three actionable steps to build trust and encourage generous giving: →Embrace Radical Transparency: Implement clear, regular financial reporting that demonstrates faithful stewardship. Show your congregation exactly how their gifts are transforming lives and advancing the Kingdom. →Celebrate Kingdom Impact: Consistently share stories that connect donations to tangible outcomes. Help your congregation see how their generosity is making a difference in your community and beyond. →Foster Deeper Engagement: Create opportunities for meaningful dialogue about the church's vision and financial stewardship. Engage members in the process of discerning how to best use resources for Kingdom impact. Remember, stewardship is about more than money – it's about cultivating hearts that trust God and respond to His generosity. By focusing on these areas, we can help bridge the gap between current giving and the incredible potential that exists within our faith communities. How is your church working to build trust and encourage generous giving? Share your experiences and insights below. https://lnkd.in/gpv_XFBc #ChurchStewardship #GenerosityJourney #KingdomImpact

Understanding the Jewish Relationship with Money There's a stereotype that suggests Jewish individuals are tight-fisted and averse to spending money. Whether presented as a joke or with a more prejudiced intent, such comments are inappropriate, as they contribute to providing ammunition for anti-Semites to justify attacks and prejudices against the Jewish community. However, it's crucial to recognize that within Jewish tradition, the reluctance to waste money is rooted in a positive perspective. For Jews, money isn't viewed negatively; instead, it's seen as a tool for improving the world. Despite constituting only 0.2% of the global population, Jews stand out for their remarkable philanthropic contributions. Half of US’s 25 most generous philanthropists are Jews, and only few give to Jewish groups. Take, for instance, the recent and highly inspiring story of Ruth Gottesman, a long-time Jewish professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her generous donation ensures free tuition for all future students. Another noteworthy example is the Brazilian billionaire, Mr. Elie Horn, a prominent Jewish figure. He became the first in his country to join Warren Buffett's Giving Pledge, committing to donate the majority of his fortune. These are just a few examples among hundreds. When confronted with the stereotype that Jews don't like to spend their money, we have two choices. Either dismiss it as a baseless, traditionally anti-Semitic argument that should not be used even in jest, or recognize it as something positive – that many members of the Jewish community are unwilling to waste money because they prefer to channel their financial resources to make the world a better place. Let's applaud and recognize these efforts from members of the Jewish community and focus on breaking down stereotypes rather than perpetuating them. #UnderstandingJewishPhilanthropy #BreakingStereotypes

In the shadows of our world,🌅 there exist innocent souls burdened with unimaginable suffering. 👬🏽Children, the most vulnerable among us, endure hardship beyond comprehension. 🌄Today, as we witness the celestial dance of an eclipse, let us not only marvel at the cosmic spectacle but also pause to reflect on the light of the little ones. Every day, countless children face the harsh realities of poverty, conflict, abuse, and neglect. Their laughter drowned by the cacophony of pain, their dreams suffocated by the weight of adversity. It is a reality that pierces the heart and begs for our attention, our compassion, and our action. But amidst the darkness, there is hope. 🌄Like the sun emerging from behind the moon during an eclipse, there is the promise of a new beginning for these innocent souls. It is within our collective power to be the catalysts for change, to be the guiding light that leads them out of the shadows and into a brighter tomorrow. Let this celestial event serve as a metaphor for the transformation that is possible in the lives of these children. Just as the eclipse marks a moment of transition, let us seize this moment to advocate for their rights, to provide them with the love, support, and opportunities they deserve. Together, we can eclipse the cycle of suffering and usher in a new dawn of hope and possibility. Let us pledge to be champions for the voiceless, defenders of the defenseless, and architects of a world where every child can thrive. #Hakifoundation #education #philanthropy #justhelp #childrenrights #genderequality #donation #donate
