How important is #sustainability to you when you travel? I love traveling. I have a bucket list of cities & places to visit before I kick the bucket. Not only till recently, when I found my passion in sustainability after being made aware through a presentation by The Climate Reality Project about how the climate change is real, and the climate crisis is already happening, I couldn't care less about climate change and wasn't interested to learn more about how huge an impact it has in our lives and on our planet, if we don't start doing anything about it. Now. Watching A Life on Our Planet, a witness statement by Sir David Attenborough and crying buckets even after watching it twice, further convinced me that I really needed a change of mindset and to start living more sustainably and to make an impact in my own small ways. So, for me, yes, sustainability is important to me when I travel. And it has to start from me, the traveler. To do so, a change of mindset is necessary. How about you? UN Tourism and Amadeus report continued growth in travel to the Americas A new report released today by Amadeus in collaboration with UN Tourism reveals continued growth in demand for travel to destinations across the Americas, despite economic and geopolitical challenges. According to data from Amadeus' Navigator360, North America continues to be the most popular and searched for destination in the region, seeing 13% growth in September to December compared to the same period last year. Central America has seen similar growth (12%) as travelers look for sun.
