#TRU looks to be a rare & much needed success story for major infrastructure projects. So many projects could learn from TRU and Neil Holm’s ethos: “I think it’s about doing the simple things brilliantly. ‘How quickly can you start work? And how productive is the work when you’re in that blockade?’ If you have people standing around when you’re trying to deliver things, that’s very expensive.” We’re often guilty of throwing money & red tape at problems which can be solved (often better so) by enabling skilled people to get on with what they’re brilliant at.
