Although it's been a few months since I received my LVMH certification with LVMH , I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what an invaluable experience it has been. The course, organized into four comprehensive modules, allowed me to specialize in two key areas: Creation & Branding and Retail & Customer Experience—two sectors I’ve always been deeply passionate about. Starting with an in-depth study of the LVMH ecosystem and the definition of luxury, I had the opportunity to reflect on the inner workings of this industry, the impact of luxury in the society, exploring the relationship between luxury and time, as well as the importance of recalling the past while developing modern strategies. As Coco Chanel famously said: “Luxury is a necessity that begins where necessity ends.” One of the key takeaways from the course is how creativity is a pillar of the luxury business. Creativity, as discussed, is not a monologue but a dialogue—exploring unknown territories in order to create something new and impactful. In the luxury world, competition doesn’t follow traditional market rules; the only way to stand out is through creativity and owning a distinctive brand identity. Throughout the course, we explored how brands like the Italian house Bvlgari and the French champagne brand Veuve Clicquot have built and maintained their strong DNA, providing invaluable lessons on creating a brand that is both timeless and forward-thinking. The final module focused on Retail & Customer Experience, where I had the chance to delve into the key factors that drive success in these areas. I also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of people, savoir-faire, and its application in creating unforgettable customer experiences. In the last few weeks I had the opportunity to gain many interesting insights into the Luxury Industry by attending the LVMH course, focused on Branding, Retail, Customer Experience and Sustainability, taught by the CEOs, CMOs and managers of the companies belonging to the leading luxury group itself. I observed how different aspects of this industry work, from design to branding and from retail to supply chain, in worldwide leading companies belonging to different sectors, such as cosmetics, fashion, wine, hospitality and jewellery. I obtained a better understanding of LVMH's marketing and communication strategies, and how relevant it is today for companies in the luxury sector to provide a unique customer experience. During these eight weeks journey I attended the following four main modules: - LVMH & The Luxury Industry - Sustainability & Diversity , Equity & Inclusion - Creation & Branding - Retail & Customer Experience I am very glad to have attended the course, which provided me with valuable insights into LVMH's unparalleled business methodology and their unique strategic approach for which they are the number 1 leader in the luxury sector.
