Financial Planning is very simple. 1. One term Insurance policy 2. One health insurance policy 3. Emergency Fund 4. One personal accident policy /Critical Illness policy (if there is a family history of critical illness) 5. Investment as per your goals and risk profile a. Short-term (invest in tax-efficient debt instruments) b. Medium-term (invest in equity mutual funds/tax-efficient debt instruments) c. Long-term (Invest in a mix of equity mutual funds and tax-efficient debt instruments or only equity mutual funds depending on the duration of goal and risk profile) 6. Keep rebalancing It becomes confusing when you combine all these points and try to understand them collectively. The confusion increases when you try to absorb the maximum information from the internet. This often leads to uncertainty in product selection, causing many people to accumulate as many products as possible from the market.

Financial markets are freaking out. Advisors are fielding calls & emails from worried clients. Clients that are concerned about worst case scenarios and "WHAT IF THIS ISN'T LIKE ALL THE OTHER TIMES THE MARKET HAS CORRECTED" - the talking heads on the news aren't making matters any better 🤦♂️ Seasons of market performance like this are a great reminder that as advisors you need to add client value outside of just investment performance. If your worth to a client is only tied to investment performance... Your past week has probably been a tough one. On the other hand, If you're doing holistic planning and adding non-investment value, you and your clients are likely weathering the storm a little better. I'm not above a poorly created meme, so... "Havvveeeeeee you met Move Health?" 🏃♂️ 💨 We promise you and your client's experience will be LEGEN- (wait for it) -DARY. ////////////////////////////////// Move Health is the premier healthcare insurance planning firm utilized by forward-thinking financial advisors and their clients across the country.

With the dual benefit of lifelong coverage and cash accumulation, cash value policies are an attractive option. However, it's crucial to consider the higher costs and potential for slower growth compared to other investment tools. Evaluate your needs and consult an advisor to see if it aligns with your financial goals. #insurance #lifeinsurance https://lnkd.in/gEvPPmM4

“Buy term, invest the rest.” You basically pay for something for 35 years max, which will expire when you’re old and closer to death. You take the rest of your money to invest in the market, with no guidance, no professional supervision, no guarantee, trusting it will yield great returns when you’re older to live out your days. The problem is, how great are you at investing? Do you actually “invest the rest” or do you make stupid and unnecessary purchases instead just because you can? And last but not least, how safe is the market? No. “Buy term, invest the rest” is NOT for everyone. And neither is ANY strategy out there. The only thing that will work for everybody is to GET EDUCATED. Hit the books. Hit the educational channels. Study. Or get a coach whom you can trust. Never trust someone else 100% with your money. Listen to advices, but USE YOUR BRAIN too. #buyterminvesttherest #lifeinsurance #investment #financialplanning #financialeducation #ifwedontlearnwedie
1% of all Term Life policies pay out. Who is the real winner then? The insurance company. They make millions and end up paying out nothing. Yet agents preach “buy term and invest the rest” like its the best strategy in the world. Majority of people never even invest the rest! A properly designed, max funded IUL can provide you wirh permanent death benefit coverage, access to your funds, compound interest and extra health care benefits. Theres a reason it was supposed to replace term policies… because its better. #termlifeinsurance #invest #iul #indexuniversallife #finance #money #insurance
