I started my agency in 2022 and almost went bankrupt... To the point where I couldn’t pay my own rent... This year, the agency is on track to do... Half a million dollars before the end of the year... Here are the three things... That I wish I knew before I started my agency... ✅ Every business needs a kickass, no-brainer offer... An offer that leads cannot refuse... An offer that is so valuable... That they'll feel stupid saying 'no' to... ✅ Every business needs a system... A system to attract clients on a monthly basis... To fill up their pipeline... And to be able to close at least fifty percent... Of all those leads that end up booking appointments with them... ✅ Don’t undervalue the power of a roadmap for your leads... You need to have a way of showing your leads... How they're going to go from their pain point right now... To their desired outcome in the future... Implement these three things... And let me know how it goes...

HUGE CLIENT WIN ($250,000 Deal?) David Peterson, one of our latest clients has a big win that I’d like to share with you all. But before that, a quick question for you… What’s the difference between people who succeed and those who don’t? Successful people take action, while losers complain. They take one step after another toward their dreams and don’t stop until they succeed. And one of my high-level clients, David Peterson, is the living proof of it. A few months ago, he joined Launch My Agency. A lot of agency owners boast about their revenue numbers. What people don’t realise is you can still make lots of money providing S&%T service. Not actually getting businesses results. Banking set up fees and stringing business along with lies about testing periods until they eventually leave. All the agency growth GURUS will tell you the next hack to get more clients. Not a F&%KING soul tells you how to keep them. Because that’s not the shiny stuff. But for me, building fucking incredible client relationships is key to the sustainable growth of We Scale Trades. Alongside getting incredible results of course. I guess that’s part of the recipe of keeping most clients 1.5 to 2 years. Without any long term contracts. Whilst the majority of other home improvement agencies can’t see past the 3 month mark. On Thursday I flew to London and we nailed a brilliant ad content refresher day down in Reading. We followed that up with a curry and a few pints with the New Views Landscaping boys. Friends, not clients. 99% sure Robbie paid just because we generated him £137k in 60 days though 😂 Can you truly build an incredible relationship with someone through a screen? I spent 463 days building a business with *only* free value. Here's the results Month 1 Lots of research → No execution Month 2 Business partner left, all prospects said no → Gave up. 🤦🏽♂️ Month 6 Old Instagram management client wants paid traffic → Ran a killer free trial campaign at 8x ROAS Month 8 Client doesn't stay on, waking up everyday early to cold call → Booked 0 meetings, no clients and brink of giving up for good Month 14 Partnered with Freddie Potticary and everything changed We signed 5 clients in less than a month, built a family of 6 people, returned 4x ROI for one client and scaled another agency from 0 → $12,500 p/m And the sad thing is everybody is afraid to explain why 1. Business is a war of attrition, it's more important to not give up then focus on what scripts and copys work the best 2. Whether it's YouTube or LinkedIn, nobody gives away resources of value for free because it's genuinely counterintuitive. Freddie knew that and invested in paid courses and communities so I didn't have The solution, network with people to get real free value, this year I was introduced to many people who helped me along the way the first being Deborah Mungai, Oliver Waters, Mark Orr and some of my entrupenuerial friends like Waris, Jiya, Gustav and Marcella P.S. Did we make a mistake? Yesterday we heard we'd been shortlisted to pitch for a client we've been wanting to work with for years! YES!! The concept we've built for them is really clever (I didn't do the creative, but it's very, very good!). The catch? The pitch is tomorrow: that's 48 hours between notification and the actual presentation of the ideas we submitted weeks ago. But the real killer? We have 45 mins in total to get in, present, create a rapport, and get out. Oh, and it is 4 hours travel EACH WAY to get to this 45 min pitch. For us, this means re-jigging existing, loyal clients to push their planned, promised work back. So, we declined the offer, and will let the other (now) 5 agencies battle it out. Some of you will be reading this and I wish you the very best. I worked in-house for 6 years before coming over to agency, and I've zero idea how an in-house team can choose the best agency for them with a 45 min meeting. You've got to want to answer the phone to your agency most days of the week, for at least 12 months. You've got to have faith we'll deliver. You've got to meet the actual people you'll be dealing with, not the people who are available at short notice. How can you judge this in 45 mins? I lay in bed last night kicking myself, but then thought about the consequences if we'd said yes...what about our current clients who gave us a lot longer than 45 mins to convince them we're the best agency for them? What about our people who suddenly are down to less than a 4 day week (but still have a full 5 days of work so we don't let our current clients down)? **So what does this mean? Well, we have an amazing idea for a brand wanting to target the plumbing/heating sector!!! If you've got a budget of around £50k and want to hear it, we are here!!!
