My second AMI is rapidly approaching, and as I dig through the files left to me, I'm not content with the current products / process I have on record. If you are an NJROTC SNSI / NSI, can you DM what files you use to prepare as examples? I specifically could use better examples of Cadet briefings, as well as prep files your Cadet OPS-O uses.

Colleagues, I am looking for advice on something. Is anyone going to #ADSTAR2024 conference in Canberra to present an e-poster? I just found out that my application for a talk at #ADSTAR somehow was passed on to become an e-poster and, to be totally honest, presenting a poster is not something I have done since I was a #PhD student. What are you doing? Is anyone presenting an e-poster? Is it worth it? Presenting a poster is definitely not very attractive, but I am keen to take advice on this. #defence #presentation #DSTG Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG)

Our Chair of board at EDT (The Engineering Development Trust) here sets out some of the challenges she sees for international students. I have learnt a lot from Elena and am in awe of how she moved from her home country, Mexico, to the UK as a country where education was famous for its excellent standard. Yet now we found the HE system struggling to ensure their financial models are sustainable with increasing focus on whether the increased funding from international students should come with concern. To me, if the system can attract students from around the world then it has to be applauded with ensured checks and balances that the students are coming for all the right reasons. Elena here articulates some of the myths and challenges openly and I hope it will create helpful debate to a more sustainable future.

The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) wrapped up today in Orlando, FL. The day opened with a Great Power Competition (GPC) panel discussion between AFLCMC’s Executive Director Dennis D’Angelo along with other senior leaders from the Center, Air Force Materiel Command and the Air Force Research Lab. The day wrapped with a panel of Major Command O-6s who discussed training challenges across the enterprise needed to sustain a global force of ready Airmen. (O-6 is a Colonel in the Air Force). For 58 years I/ITSEC has been the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event. The conference features peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. I/ITSEC is organized and sponsored by the National Training & Simulation Association (NTSA). No federal endorsement implied. Video recaps follows. Mr. D'Angelo is in the black suit with red tie.
