The Art of Asking Questions... yes, indeed it is an art! As Arjen Iwema mentions here in this video, we need to ask better questions for a more insightful outcome in our conversations. Since I have been using this technique people in leadership positions are always surprised when I tell them what people of their team told me. "Oh, really, they never opened up so quickly when I talk to them..." is what I hear frequently. This is connected to the quality of the questions you ask. When I support W-focus inc with my @Blackbeltpresence method in leadership trainings it always amazes me how quickly people start to have a conversation on a much deeper level when following Arjen Iwema s art of asking questions. Between the year 2000 and 2022, there were 520 active attack events. Of those, 297 events ended before police arrived. The majority occurred at places of business. In response, the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course was designed and built on the Avoid, Deny Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004. CRASE provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for increasing survivability during an active attack event. Designed as an online train the trainer course, CRASE provides participants with the course manual and a PowerPoint presentation for delivery to civilian populations at schools, churches, places of business and anywhere else the need may arise. CRASE satisfies the TCOLE requirement for course #3664 and provides four (4) hours of TCOLE credit. CRASE does not provide credit for the TCOLE SB1852 mandate.
