A truly handsome piece by Tortolani back in the early 70's, and designed as a clamper with a side hinge. The front decoration is domed and crafted in a fine mesh-like open circle work, and embedded with shiny silver nodules that give it some glitter. Exudes elegance in a Modernist or Brutalist style. Color EVA film can be used for decorative safety glass lamination. It has similar characters as transparent laminated glass, but provide a more vivid style to the project. There are both transparent colors and also opaque colors available. Here are three rules to follow when hanging artwork to make it more appealing to the eye. 1) Hanging art roughly 6-8 inches above furniture. The goal is to make it feel connected to the object(s) below it. 2) When hanging artwork on an empty wall, the center of the art should hang approximately 57-60" from the floor. Or if you’re average height, an easier way to measure is to hang it at eye level. 3) If you’re pairing more than one frame, hang them 3-4" apart. Keeping the frames close helps people see all the art as one unit.
