Households in our country throw away 930,000 tonnes of food every year that ends up in the garbage, while every Greek produces almost 90 kg of food waste annually - 10% of greenhouse gas emissions are linked to uneaten food. Around one million people could be fed from food that is thrown away! An important message which goes beyond just palm oil. Consumers are entitled to: 1. Complete and transparent ingredient lists on all consumer products 2. Communication and knowledge-sharing platforms through which they can access details related to product origin and traceability.
