Our new headquarters on MARK 51°7: A symbol of change in the Ruhr area 💡🌱 With great joy and pride, we have moved to our new headquarters at MARK 51°7 in Stadt Bochum. At this historic industrial site, we now connect the past with the future. Our Managing Director Tobias J. Nadjib explains why Bochum and the Ruhr area are the ideal choice for our new company headquarters. "We chose Bochum on purpose, as this location represents the adaptability of a German industrial hub like no other. Here, transformation can be felt. This former industrial site is a place of change, just like the greater Ruhr area. Where once steel and coal flourished, hosts the development of pioneering future technologies today." In the new headquarters, all our employees come together to shape the future of the automotive industry together. Here we not only work in an agile and connected way, but we also live our #OctopusSpirit 🐙: the ability to act flexibly, adapt quickly to new challenges and always keep an overview over everything. The Connecteria, our canteen 🍽️, is more than just a place for a meal together. It is at the heart of our communication and collaboration. Here we connect not only people, but also ideas, and "connect the vehicle to the future". 🚗💡 Another important aspect of our new location is the close connection with the #Ruhrarea 4.0. Here on MARK 51°7 we are not alone. We are part of a dynamic network of companies that are shaping the future of the Ruhr region. Together with other future-oriented companies, we are driving the development towards a region of pioneering technologies. 🚀💫 We are also closely linked to our partner universities, the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), the Hochschule Bochum - Bochum University of Applied Sciences (HS Bochum) and the Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (THGA Bochum). This cooperation is particularly important to us because it ensures the transfer of knowledge and promotes the exchange with young talents who will shape our industry in the future. 🎓🌟 "The Ruhr area has developed from a mining region to a home for future technology. And we are proud to be a part of this development, to actively drive it. With our new HQ on MARK 51°7, we actively contribute to maintaining Bochum and the Ruhr area as an innovation hub”, says Tobias Nadjib. ✨ Did you know Gothenburg is the "Master of collaboration"?✨ Because we are perfectly positioned by the sea, international trade has been a natural part of our development, and interacting with others has fostered a culture of openness and collaboration. Since back in the days, we have developed and fine-tuned our collaborative skills, and now we're actually killing it. International visitors coming to check out smart technical solutions are often more interested in how we solved it together rather than in the solution itself. We also have three special initiatives that I must tell you about: 🍀 A new community and innovation cluster is being built by the newly formed Steptura in collaboration with Volvo Cars and the City of Gothenburg. It will be a meeting place for collaboration with the goal of developing tomorrow's sustainable innovations. A new name is also on the way... 🍀 Volvo Group and Daimler Trucks, two of the world's largest truck manufacturers, are jointly starting a company with its HQ in Gothenburg to develop a common hardware and software platform for heavy trucks. 🌸 Gothenburg is the Purple Flag City of the Year 2024! A collaborative effort to create a better and safer city. Congratulations to us! In addition, these collaborations are also happening here: 🚍 Gothenburg Green City Zone, a testbed where future transport systems are tested and developed 🏚 Gothenburg's platform for climate-neutral construction with the goal of reducing the construction and real estate industry's climate impact. This includes the initiative Handslaget to increase circularity. The "Recycler of the Year" was awarded to Castellum and Platzer Fastigheter 🏢 Large companies inviting startups to share expertise and facilities, such as AstraZeneca, MobilityXlab, CampX by Volvo Group, and more If you have any examples of collaboration in Gothenburg, I would love to hear about it! Or a failed collaboration, that's also welcome! Take me and Leisure Boy 🐎 in the picture as an example of when a collaboration don't go as planned.. #gothenburg #göteborg

1. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟒 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞? 2. 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟!! 1. I joined INGLAS GmbH & Co. KG in June, and it’s been a fast-paced, rewarding journey since day one and being part of this team and contributing to their innovative vision has been a fantastic experience. A standout moment was attending InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin last month. From writing articles to designing flyers and building an exhibition booth from scratch, it’s been hands-on, and I’m really proud of our results. What’s really struck me is just how many companies, across different sectors, are delivering innovative, value-driven solutions that most of us are unaware of, but benefit from daily. For instance, Inglas’ Impact Sentinel sensors are safeguarding Swiss mountain railways—a route I’ve taken many times. As passengers, we often don’t realize the technology working behind the scenes to keep us safe. 2. When I saw the job listing for this role, I thought, “Hang on, I can do that!!” In the past, I might have hesitated to apply due to self-doubt or thinking, "I won't get it, what's the point!". But this time, I backed myself, believed in my abilities—and I’m so glad I did. So if anyone is reading this and has seen a job role they want - go for it it! : APPLY! A big thanks to Ryan Anderson, Anna Anderson (and Alexander!!) for the warm welcome and support. Excited to see what the future holds! #Leadership #Innovation #CareerGrowth #Business #Marketing #Tech #Networking #Inspiration #Entrepreneurship #Productivity #InnoTrans #TransportIndustry #RailwayIndustry #WorkplaceCulture #ProfessionalDevelopment #Success #FutureOfWork #CareerAdvice #TeamWork #MotivationMonday

WE ARE IN THE FINAL STAGES OF A MAJOR MODERNISATION, COSTING TENS OF MILLIONS OF EUROS, AND ANOTHER, EVEN BIGGER ONE IS ON THE WAY 📈 The MSM GROUP CEO Miloslav Mahut, confirmed this to the daily Pravda: "In the next two to three years, we plan to invest a total of more than 200 million euros." ✅ Investments will be made in all our companies to further expand production capacity. But we also need to think about expanding our workforce. 🤩 "We have heard that you are a good place to work," are the words with which people bring their CVs to the ZVS factory in Snina, which currently employs 160 people. ZVS in Dubnica employs 450 people and is still recruiting. 💪 This will make us one of the most important employers in the region. We plan to hire nearly 150 people in 2025, and by the end of the year we will have more than 1,500 employees across the Group. 👨🎓👩🎓 Recruiting more highly qualified staff remains a challenge. We try to find the best on the market and then train our own specialists, which often means going abroad. It helps that we are a member of the international Czechoslovak Group, which allows us to cooperate and share know-how across companies. Read more about our investments, growth and plans in PRAVDA and Forbes Česko. Links in comments 👇
