Today Vopak Qinzhou welcomed 36 energetic students from Qinzhou Port High School to join our WeConnect Day of 2024, with the theme of this year being "I am a chemical safety ambassador". Vopak team introduced the development history of the terminal in Qinzhou Port area since 2019 to the participants, with an emphasis on how the terminal contributes to regional industries and interact with local community by providing safe and sustainable services. Followed by a tour in the terminal, various safety related topics were also discussed among Vopak team and the students. Meaningful insights were exchanged on how safety could impact everyone's daily life. The Vopak WeConnect Foundation was launched in 2017, following the celebrations of Royal Vopak’s 400-year history. It aims to foster volunteering for Vopak communities, to create a better future for young people and a more sustainable environment in which they can thrive. #Vopak #VopakWeConnect #Community #Safety
