VP Broadband in Mohali is hiring for Account Executive. Job Overview: As an Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Your responsibilities will include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Bookkeeping: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable and receivable. * Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure they are entered into the accounting system. 2. Accounts Payable: * Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. 3. Accounts Receivable: * Generate and send customer invoices. * Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments. * Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues. 4. Financial Reporting: * Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. * Provide timely and accurate financial information to management for decision-making. 5. Budgeting: * Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets. * Work with management to ensure financial goals and targets are met. 6. Bank Reconciliation: * Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. * Monitor cash flow and assist in optimizing working capital. 7. Compliance: * Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. * Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation. 8. Financial Analysis: * Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making. * Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 9. Collaboration: * Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary financial information. * Communicate with external parties, such as vendors and customers, to resolve financial-related queries. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role. * Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. Key Competencies: * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Familiarity with relevant financial regulations.
