Giving a shout out to a super cool #AI company I've recently come across. I've learned that tailoring your communication to the specific person you're trying to communicate with is absolutely key to making good business and sales relationships. It's also damn hard to do! Humantic AI has a platform that can understand the communication style of a specific individual and help train you how to communicate with them more effectively (Amarpreet Kalkat, please feel free to do a better job describing the system).

We are seeing some of the benefits and downfalls when using #AI assistance in our emails, blogs, slide decks, proposals, etc. I use Yoodli AI Communication Coach with my clients and I've seen how it can provide valuable feedback and enhance communication skills. I recently became aware of its use with video production. Can we be authentic if we are using an avatar of ourselves? What are the pros and cons of this and how authentic is it to you? As a communication coach and trainer, I have my reservations. What do you think? Does it look like me? Do you know what AI thinks of your #presentation? Why should you care? I recently used Zoom AI Companion during a webinar and it generated this executive summary for the session: "Christine emphasized the importance of body language, vocal quality, and cultural adaptability in effective communication, suggesting various techniques and tools for improvement. She also discussed the significance of setting up for online communication, including technology and virtual backgrounds, and encouraged participants to practice and improve their communication skills. Lastly, she addressed the importance of reducing filler words, using eye contact effectively, and the challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals in communication." While generated by AI, it is a great way to gauge key themes and takeaways of human listeners. It provides the opportunity to reflect on: - How did the summary reflect my intentions for the presentation? - How could I change the presentation to better meet my goals? - How can I more clearly express and organize ideas? - How can I more effectively distill takeaways? While there's no replacement for getting feedback from actual listeners (which I also have from this presentation), the AI summary provides a helpful perspective that speakers can also use to improve their presentations.
