SABER PCoC (Part of my KPI) Product Certificate of conformity Electronically issued product certificate through Saber portal with the help of notified certification agencies. Saber platform developed by SASO for hustle free import of Technical regulated products considering product safety. Product Registration Process 1. Product details. (Style/model number, Brand name, COO, Images, etc.,) 2. Creating requests (Depend on the product category such as Toys, Textiles, Electrical, etc.) 3. Sending requests for acceptance to Notified certification agencies (You have option to choose region wise as per product COO) 4. After accepting the requests Generate SADAD Bill with Request numbers and SADAD Number reference make a payment to Saudi authority in SAR. 5. Once the SADAD payment is done share the required technical documents to same notified certification agencies for request approval. Documents will be depending upon the type of product (SASO has shared guidelines specifying products as per HSN code categories) 6. Technical documents include Product test report from ISO accredited Laboratories (Testing Standards as per product category), ISO certificate, Risk Assessment, Factory audit report (for Type 3 products). 7. Once the Notified certification agency review the documents either approve the request or give their feedback for additional documents (depending upon functionality of the products) 8. After approval Certificate will be valid for One year. Lead Time will be 1 day to 3 days For Toys category no need to go for SADAD payment, after product registration we can directly send requests for approval and certificate will be valid for maximum 5 years depending upon available GCTS certificate validity.
