I understand this feeling all too well because I was a practicing "traditional" vet for 20 years! After two decades in the field, I made the transition to integrative veterinary medicine, and it has been a game-changer. I've experienced firsthand the limitations of relying solely on traditional methods. Integrating alternative methods has had a transformative effect on my patients, their caregivers, and my own professional satisfaction. I recognize that venturing into integrative medicine may seem daunting, especially if it's not what you were taught or what you're familiar with. I have collaborated with many vets who had this same mindset to begin with however after learning more they too have learned the incredible results alternative therapies give us and our patients.
