This week marks an incredibly important event on the mental health calendar - #ChildrensMentalHealthAwarenessWeek. Now more than ever, it's vital that we shine a light on the importance of children and young people's #MentalHealth. We live in a world that is increasingly stressful and anxiety-inducing. Our kids are dealing with challenges that are unique to their generational experience. From navigating the complexities of the online world, dealing with school pressures, to coping with the global effects of a pandemic, the mental health landscape for children has never been more complex. Yet, it's heartening to see how resilient our youngest generation can be. With the right support, understanding, and tools, they navigate these challenges with surprising courage and adaptability. As adults - parents, caregivers, teachers, or coaches - it's our role to provide safe spaces for children to express their feelings, to equip them with the tools to manage stress and anxiety, and to remind them that it's okay to ask for help.
