Want to always look great in the clothes you already own? Use this stylist method...simply explained in this weeks newsletter https://lnkd.in/gvqiz67G All it takes is some or all of the following 3 things, as best as you can: [ONE] Match the colours of clothes on your upper body to your complexion and hair, if you have a pale complexion this is even more important [TWO] Create some contrast around your eyes, naturally with your eyebrows or with glasses [THREE] Do the same around your neck, naturally with a beard or with contrasting darker clothes, i.e your t-shirts, jumpers, ties, scarves and lesser so your jackets. If you have light eyebrows this is also important.

Some background: Kelly is a trained color consultant, originally training in the 4 Season color analysis that many people are familiar with. Since color analysis has evolved, she now uses a 12-pallet color flow approach in-person or virtually. Kelly’s analysis: In Color Flow approach terms, Kelly is a Soft Cool (aka…a Summer that flows to an Autumn). This is based on her cool toned hair and skin undertone. Warm tones come into play with her neutral-warm hazel eye color. What does this mean for styling?: Kelly looks best in medium contrast colors, colors like baby blue, pink, and other soft rich tones. Even the bright colors she wears are on the softer side. The benefits of knowing this information: Understanding your colors allows you to gain confidence in the clothes you buy and wear. Kelly states that “You can wear any color you want at the end of the day, it's how you use it that makes a difference”. When you know your colors, items you buy separately will look like they were bought together, you can create a timeless wardrobe, and you ultimately get more bang for your buck when shopping! #color #coloranalysis #style #confidence #imageconsulting #colorseason ##imagematters

Styling a wig for cosplay is an essential skill for achieving an authentic look. Here’s a step-by-step guide: Choose the Right Wig: Select a wig that matches the character's hair color and style. It should have enough length and volume to be styled. Prep the Wig: Wash the wig if it's new to remove any factory residues. Dry it thoroughly before styling. Section the Wig: Divide the wig into sections using clips or elastics to make styling easier, especially for intricate styles. Heat Styling: Use heat styling tools like curling irons or straighteners for wigs made of heat-resistant fibers. Be sure to keep the temperature low to avoid damaging the fibers. Cut and Shape: Trim the wig if necessary to match the character's style. You can also add layers or angles to achieve the desired look. Finish with Hair Products: Use wig spray, gel, or mousse to set the style and keep it in place. This helps maintain the shape throughout the cosplay event. With patience and the right tools, you can achieve a professional cosplay look! #CosplayWig #WigStyling #CosplayTips #DIYWig detail: https://lnkd.in/gKYGvPAN

Hope you all having a great week. Achromatic colours are those that lack hue, i.e., they are neutral colours without a distinct dominant colour. The term "achromatic" comes from the Greek words "a," meaning without, and "chroma," meaning colour. The three primary achromatic colours are black, white, and grey. These colours do not have a specific wavelength and are often considered neutral. Here's a brief explanation of each: Black: The absence of light or colour. It absorbs all colours and reflects none. White: The presence of all colours. It reflects all wavelengths of light. Gray: A mixture of black and white, with varying degrees of lightness or darkness depending on the ratio of black to white. Achromatic colours are perfect for creating contrast with vibrant hues and can convey simplicity, sophistication, and neutrality. They serve as excellent base colours in your wardrobe, allowing you to mix and match with more colourful pieces. A color analysis brings many benefits, from discovering which colors suit you best for clothing, hair color and makeup to insights into personality. This comes with a digital color swatch.
