An era is now coming to an end for our Young Talents class of 2021! 🥳 On December 5, 2024, 19 of our Würth IT graduates celebrated the successful ending of their apprenticeships and dual studies with members of the Executive Board, management and the Young Talent team at the handicap restaurant in Künzelsau! Our Young Talents were also delighted to receive personal congratulations from one of our two Managing Directors, Christian. 🎉😍 In the past 3 years, a total of 8 IHK trainees have completed their apprenticeships at Würth IT. Of these, 2 young talents are completing their vocational training as IT specialists for system integration and 6 others are completing their vocational training as IT specialists for application development at the Waldzimmern and Schorndorf sites. Würth IT has also supported a total of 11 dual students over the past three years. These include 5 graduates from the Applied Computer Science course, one graduate from the Digital Business Management course, 3 graduates from the Online Media course and 2 graduates from the Business Informatics course. We are delighted to have been able to accompany you at the start of your careers and are glad that you will continue to join our teams! We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you once again on your degrees. 🚀🙌

We want to celebrate everyone who secured their degree apprenticeships last week on results day 🎉 congrats for getting through the intense interviews, applications and assessment days. Some advice for first year apprentices: 1. Remember you’re there to learn! Ask all the questions and embrace the mistakes - they’re all learning curves. 2. Speak to people at the company, including other apprentices. Building up your internal community is a great way of getting the most out of work and fostering a support system. 3. You’re running a marathon now, not a race. Take some time to acknowledge that you’ve got to shift gears. Perhaps how you used to study content will change or how you spend your free time etc. Take one thing and one day at a time. There’s always another way to get to the same destination, whether it’s through university, an apprenticeship or something else entirely. Celebrating the Success of SGS Alumni: Joshua Hale's Inspiring Journey! Joshua Hale, 26, embarked on his career journey through the Level 5 Operations Management Apprenticeship at SGS College. Reflecting on his experience, he describes the course as invaluable, crediting the charismatic tutor and well-balanced mix of classroom learning, independent study, and work experience for setting him up for success. He commented: "The opportunity to learn alongside a diverse group of professionals highlighted that college isn’t just for younger students. I felt reassured that I wasn’t being left behind academically, even as friends pursued university degrees. The course showed me that learning and growth aren’t bound by age. It was the perfect environment to build confidence and gain real experience." Since completing his apprenticeship, Joshua was promoted within his company and stayed with his employer until 2023, when he achieved a significant milestone by securing funding for a Management Buy-Out (MBO). Now, as Owner and Managing Director of Dock Solutions, he leads a team of 42, working with some of the largest organisations worldwide. Joshua firmly believes his qualification was instrumental in his career advancement, initially giving him a solid foundation in business that he applied daily, contributing to his promotion. It also played a crucial role in securing MBO funding, representing his commitment and core skills and helping others believe in his potential to lead. Well done, Joshua!
