After all, they’re some of the purest souls on this earth. 🌎 And I believe it’s because they’re born already knowing the most important lesson we, as humans, need to learn: how to love selflessly. ❤️ Dogs live with an open heart from day one. They don’t need years to learn loyalty, forgiveness, or kindness—they just are these things. 🐶💞 They remind us of the best parts of ourselves and show us what it means to be truly present, to care without limits. One rainy evening, I found a shivering puppy, barely breathing, under a parked car. Her ribs were visible, and her eyes were filled with fear and hope. I couldn’t leave her there. With care and love, she recovered, and today she’s a healthy, happy dog with a family that cherishes her. But what about the countless others who aren’t so lucky? This experience inspired me to take action and start PawPrintsofHope, a foundation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming street dogs. Our mission is to provide these voiceless souls with a second chance at life and the love they deserve. Otters, particularly sea otters, are known for keeping stones to use as tools. They do this for a couple of key reasons: Cracking open hard shells: Sea otters feed on shellfish like clams, mussels, and sea urchins. They use stones to crack open the hard shells of their prey. An otter will float on its back, place the shellfish on its belly, and strike it with a stone until the shell breaks open. Tool storage: Some sea otters keep their favorite stones in a small pouch of loose skin located under their forearms. This pouch serves as a kind of "toolbox," allowing them to keep the stone for repeated use without having to search for a new one every time. This behavior makes sea otters one of the few animals known to use tools in the wild! The otter gave the man its very precious possesion.
