Highlights from our ongoing Training at Learning & Development Center, FFC-GM. Maintenance of Reciprocating Pump (Hydraulic End). Safety Measures: Wore PPEs and followed LOTO procedures. Maintained a clean, organized environment with proper tool handling and posture. Tools Used: Ring spanner, vernier caliper, inside micrometer, emery paper. Process: Disassembling: Removed yoke bolts, gland nut, gland bushing, and plunger; checked dimensions. Marked valves for reassembly. Observations: Found damaged gland rings, rusted suction valve balls, and damaged discharge valve balls. Maintenance: Replaced gland rings, polished suction valve balls, replaced discharge valve, and repaired rusted areas. Reassembling & Testing: Reassembled in reverse order, conducted water test (no leaks), and secured hydraulic end. Conclusion: Maintenance and testing confirmed effective repair. I carried out this Maintenance with my team; Yasir Mehmood Basit Ali Muzamil Hussain & Sajid Ali. Their dedication and teamwork ensured the pump's efficient operation.
