Reflecting on Recruitment From joining Irlam Associates over 5 years ago, I have had many different perspectives on recruitment. I often find that in recruitment you can easily lose sight of the role we play as a 'matchmaker' and instead focus on the role of our clients. I strongly believe that recruitment isn't just about filling vacancies and that it's about supporting real growth. Whether we're boosting someone's career or connecting top talent with our partners, it's about creating opportunities. Each successful match isn't just a task completed, it's about supporting growth for both our clients and candidates. That's the essence of our work - supporting mutual progress. Our impact goes beyond individuals and it touches families, communities, and industries. By matching talent with the right roles, we initiate productivity, growth and development. Yes, I'm drawn to recruitment for its dynamic, problem-solving nature. However, witnessing first hand the positive transformations we bring to candidates and clients leaves an indelible mark.
