Many equality, diversity, and inclusion practices in the UK are ineffective because they’re not grounded in evidence, according to a new report by a government-appointed panel advised by WAPPP co-director Iris Bohnet. The panel hopes to reverse this trend through the report recommendations, which include a framework to empower organizations to put evidence at the heart of decisions around EDI, and a call for UK government to develop an independent toolkit to support employers in this work.
