2025 is here—a fresh start, a new chapter, and a chance to walk boldly in God’s purpose for your life. No matter what last year held—joys, struggles, or battles—you are not alone. Jesus Christ is with you, offering hope, healing, and freedom. To our veterans, first responders, and their families: we see you, we honor you, and we’re here for you. Don’t let the darkness win—reach out, check on each other, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it. This year, let’s commit to standing together, lifting each other up, and walking in the freedom Christ has already won for us. 2025 is your year to step into His light and live with purpose. “See, I am doing a new thing!” – Isaiah 43:19 warriorssetfree.org

Once we become born again or accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, our purpose shifts to align with God's purpose. As believers, we cannot have conflicting purposes; our focus should be on the Great Purpose. Thus, we are tasked to serve God's purpose in our generations. An example of this can be seen in Acts 13:35, where David is noted for serving God's purpose in his own generation. In order to stay relevant in our generations, God often gives us visions. These visions consist of two main components: service or products. Many people serve God's purpose through various careers like teaching, military service, law, business, and more. Others contribute through creating products and innovative ideas, actively playing a part in serving God's purpose uniquely. Remember, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Hope for the future “And take the helmet of salvation” (Ephesians 6:17) Satan often attacks believers’ thoughts about their future with God. He wants them to doubt God’s promises, to doubt whether they will really go to heaven after their death. These thoughts can be extremely discouraging, and can take away our joy and assurance of faith. The helmet of the hope of salvation can protect our thoughts, and thus our hope for the future. The joyful expectation of eternal life in the Lord’s presence and the assurance of God’s promises about new heavens and a new earth, give hope and the power to endure. Christians are like the Israelites during their desert journey: the circumstances are sometimes hard, it is not always easy to keep going, but they continue because they know their final destination is worth it and God sustains them on their journey. The helmet of salvation can give you the right perspective on life. If you feel discouraged or confused about the difficulties you face, read for example Revelation 21 and 22. Allow this vision of God’s future salvation to fill you with hope and endurance again.

"Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight." – 1 Chronicles 19:13 (NIV) How to Fight a War. 1/ Courage is the starting point. War is frightening, but the first step is to find courage. We don’t begin with fear; we begin with boldness. 2/ Know your purpose. We fight for God’s will and His glory, not for our own agenda. Understanding the why strengthens our resolve. 3/ Leave the results to God. Victory doesn’t come from our efforts alone. The outcome is in God’s hands, and we trust Him to do what is right. As we face life's battles, may we hold on to these principles: take courage, stay rooted in God’s purpose, and trust Him with the results.

Victory is Always on the Other Side of the Battle Life’s battles—storms, obstacles, and challenges—test our faith, but as believers, we are assured that victory lies beyond the struggle. These trials are opportunities for God to reveal His power and faithfulness. Battles Before the Breakthrough God may give us visions or promises but often withholds the details of the battles ahead. If we knew every challenge in advance, we might falter. Instead, He calls us to trust Him even when the way forward seems unclear. Moses and the Red Sea (Exodus 14:1-31) When trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, Moses declared, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14). God parted the sea, delivering the Israelites and defeating their enemies. This miraculous victory reminds us that breakthrough comes when we trust God in impossible situations. Elisha and the Blinded Army (2 Kings 6:8-23) When an enemy army surrounded Elisha, he assured his fearful servant, "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them" (2 Kings 6:16). God opened the servant’s eyes to see divine forces and blinded the enemy, leading to an unexpected resolution. This illustrates how God fights our battles in ways beyond human comprehension. Lessons for Our Battles 1. God’s Presence in the Battle Just as He fought for Moses and Elisha, God is with us in every storm. "The Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you…" (Deuteronomy 20:4). 2. Trusting God’s Timing Victory often comes after the darkest moments. Trust and patience strengthen our faith. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest..." (Galatians 6:9). No matter the struggle, God’s faithfulness ensures victory on the other side. #VictoryInChrist #FaithOverFear #GodFightsOurBattles #DivineIntervention Evangelist David Ofori-Asante

Thursday, October 24 Only the Beginning "His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Matthew 25:21 Awards and rewards are presented in all segments of society: sports, business, government, military, entertainment, and more. And it starts at an early age—what child doesn’t delight in receiving a gold star for a job well done? Almost all human awards have one thing in common: They focus on past behavior or achievements. Recommended Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 For all who inherit a place in Christ’s future Millennial Kingdom, a different kind of reward will be received—a reward that focuses on the future. Rewards for faithfulness in this life will result in the privilege of service for Christ in His Kingdom in the future. The Millennium is not going to be a thousand-year vacation. Rather, it will be the manifestation of God’s just rule and economy on earth as administered by the saints of God who inherit the Kingdom. In Jesus’ parable of the talents, the servants who were faithful over some things were then made rulers over many things (Matthew 25:14-30). Our service for Christ in this life is not the end—it is only the beginning! The highest honor in the church is not government but service. John Calvin

Philippians 4:6 is a scripture that has conditions that must be met and a promise that will be realized as a result. The conditions are as follows: Decide not to be anxious. Commit everything to God in prayer. Pray with supplication (humble entreaty or petition). Pray with thanksgiving unto God. When we meet the fourfold condition of this passage, we can expect to receive the promise of embodying the peace of God which carries with it the fourfold benefit of replacing anxiety, surpassing our understanding, guarding (hence protecting) our hearts as well as our minds. Now that promise of peace is enough positive power to get us through, carry us over, and lift us above any situation that comes our way. Let's position ourselves to meet the fourfold conditions found in Philippians 4:6 so that we can receive the fourfold promise!

IN EVERLASTING ARMS Like the sun stationed securely in the heavens, God reigns infinitely far above His creation, transcending all limits. Enduring and unchanged, He governs the vast expanse of the universe and all that dwells within. Yet, concurrently, His presence intersects with our lives in profoundly personal ways. Mature Christians focus on God's continuous blessings, despite unworthiness. We exploit His goodness, yet He responds with abundant blessings. Let gratitude fill each day, praising Him for protection, provision, and peace. Pray for an end to sin-driven war and violence, but prioritize God's peace in our lives. Give thanks for His mercy and the peaceful existence He provides. https://lnkd.in/gY2Sv4Yx Check out my blog post https://wix.to/IsiblWX #newblogpost
