Congrats to all the finalist and amazing to see 119 teams composed of the top students in the country committed to new business ventures and innovations. Participating as a judge was a great experience and with so many great ideas it was difficult to select the winners. Congrats to the WashU Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship team for organizing, mentoring the student participants, and generating so much participation.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in SVC; the energy, passion and openness to feedback and challenge as well as many creative ideas made the experience a lot of fun whether reviewing Executive Summaries, judging or mentoring. Congratulations to the finalists; you’re all winners! The rate of change, good economic thinking and quality of work product in such a short timeframe was amazing!

Congratulations to all the finalists! It was an honor to serve on the judging panel and meet tomorrow’s innovative leaders. I'd also like to mention the supportive efforts of the Skandalaris Team for designing an outstanding program that nurtures their founders, MVPs, and business models.
