Did you know that every two minutes, a child dies from a waterborne illness that could have been prevented? When families don't have access to safe drinking water, they are forced to use contaminated water that makes them sick. It also means they cannot maintain proper hygiene, including washing their hands, which can spread disease.
However, there is something we can do to help put an end to this global water crisis. By giving access to safe water and sanitation, we can significantly reduce the spread of disease and save lives. Consider donating to Water for Good + Lifewater International and partnering with us to ensure that water is accessible to all and continues to flow for good.

Did you know there is a day for toilets?
If you don’t think they deserve their own day, just try not using one for a whole day.
But here’s the thing: over 3.6 billion people don’t have access to safe sanitation. That’s the combined population of the US, Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan. That’s lives affected daily by poor health, limited opportunities, and compromised dignity.
Big impact starts small. One donation. One project. One toilet. Let’s flush the mindset of “someone else will do it” or “I will do it when I have time”and start small together. Please join me in donating to Water.org where $5 can provide one person with access to clean water and sanitation.

Today, on the 19th of November, we recognize #WorldToiletDay, raising awareness of the global sanitation crisis. Here are ways you can contribute to this important cause:
1. **Educate and Advocate:** Take the time to understand the challenges faced by many around the world regarding sanitation. Advocate for change to improve access to proper sanitation facilities.
2. **Participate and Support:** Get involved by participating in events that raise awareness about sanitation issues. Support organizations dedicated to enhancing sanitation systems and preserving natural resources.
3. **Donate:** Consider making a difference by donating to WASH organizations. Non-profits like World Toilet Organization, GiveLove, WaterAid, and charity: water are actively working to provide communities worldwide with safe sanitation, clean water, and essential hygiene education.
Let's join hands to make a positive impact on global sanitation this World Toilet Day. #SanitationMatters#CleanWaterForAll
Do well to teach your household and friends these six major steps on how to wash hands correctly.
1. Wash from palm to palm
2. Back of hands
3. Fingers interlocked
4. Knuckles
5. Thumbs
6. Fingertips
Then finally, rinse your hands.

Fueling Hope: Food Services Support for Our Community
Here at the Windsor Park LifeCare Trust, we partner with Windsor Park Baptist Church to co-ordinate and deliver our Food Support Services initiative, providing essential assistance to those facing food insecurity in our community. From freezer meals to fresh produce distributions, we're committed to ensuring that no one goes hungry. However, as the need for food assistance grows, so does our determination to expand our efforts and we could really use your help!
Here are a few ways that you or your organization can help:
Donate pantry items to our office during the week (or into the trolleys positioned in the auditorium on a Sunday).
Volunteer to help cook and package meals for our Freezer Bank or offer fresh-cooked dishes.
Volunteer to pack parcels or assist with the regular Wednesday KiwiHarvest delivery.
As the demand for our services increases weekly, your support could help us reach even more families in need. Together, we can make a real difference in our community. Also, here’s a massive shout out to our friends at KiwiHarvest for their steadfast support. Your incredible contributions are a big help to our cause as we try to tackle the growing issue of food insecurity!
