Waterways Ireland’s Post

Proud to share another successful wellbeing initiative at Waterways Ireland! Last week, our Working Well group hosted an inspiring Men's Mental Health event that brought together exceptional speakers and practical wellness approaches.    🥗 We kicked off with expert nutritionist Sarah Keogh from Eatwell, who shared valuable insights on how nutrition impacts mental health and overall wellbeing. 💪 Kevin O'Hagan from the Irish Cancer Society provided crucial health awareness information, providing staff with the necessary knowledge and cancer preventative strategies. 🧘♂️ Darren Giles led us through an energising session combining mindfulness, kinesiology, and physical activity - proving that wellness can be both beneficial and fun! 🎯 The event culminated with a powerful talk from rugby legend and mental health advocate Brent Pope, whose personal journey and insights resonated deeply with staff.   At Waterways Ireland, we believe that investing in our people's wellbeing isn't just an initiative - it's a fundamental part of our organisational culture. Events like this help break down barriers around physical and mental health discussions and provide practical tools for maintaining wellness.   #WaterwaysIreland #MentalHealth #WorkplaceWellness #EmployeeWellbeing #MensHealth #WorkingWell
