Union Minister Amit Shah launched 'White Revolution 2.0' on Thursday, a comprehensive initiative designed to empower women farmers and generate employment. 🔸The program's main objectives are to increase milk production locally, empower women farmers, strengthening the dairy industry's infrastructure, and increase dairy exports. 🔸Within the first 100 days of the Modi government's third term, three initiatives were implemented, including the programme. 🔸"The dairy industry employs the majority of women; in Gujarat alone, some of them generate business worth Rs 60,000 crore. Shubh Mint's self-help groups (SHG) have transformed the economic and social lives of rural women in #India. To celebrate the International Day for Rural Women this year, the Shubh Mint program organized inter-cluster exposure visits for 100 women in Barabanki District, Uttar Pradesh. Over three days, participants visited women-run farms, farmer producer companies, and learned about various income-generating activities like dairy farming, handicrafts, and agro-processing. Ripple Effect: Empowering Women Through JSPVAT Fisheries 🌊✨ Over the last few months at MSC, I have witnessed numerous initiatives with deep impact at grassroot level. One such initiative is the JSPVAT Fisheries Program, where women actively participate in pond management, fish production, and marketing. This led to financial independence and enabled greater participation in decision-making. In my past work with FDRVC (Foundation For Devlopment Of Rural Value Chains), I witnessed women-led FPO models thrive under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY - NRLM) program. The JSPVAT Fisheries Program under JEEVIKA, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar feels like another powerful step in the same direction—empowering women to lead and transform communities. What touches me most is the focus on women’s health and nutrition, teaching them the importance of self-care alongside family care. This creates healthier households and stronger communities. Same in our nation also Farmers being given INR to tempt them. Our nation's Farmers needs govt support for sustaining their's livelihood by assured returns of the investment being done in farming as seeds, fertiliser and other cropping inputs. As per Swami Nathan's committee the Farmer's never get the returns of farm labour done by all family members. Our Govt. as well as our nation's corporates priority must be Farmer's first. Our nation's richest Corporate Adani group company has filed opposition notice against tribe's area rural farming women's Startup trademark FARMSANCHAY under class 30 having share capital Rs50,000 only from hard earned savings while corporate worth is INR 12,500 Billions. The Farmer's women's waiting for justice ⚖️ since 2018. although constitution having provisions for gender equality and poor rights protection, still poor farmers suffering.
