This Disability Employment Awareness Month, let's celebrate the contributions of individuals with disabilities and commit to building a future where everyone has the chance to succeed. The theme for 2024, “Access to Good Jobs for All,” underscores the ongoing efforts to ensure that people with disabilities have equal opportunities in the workforce. We must advocate for policies that promote equal opportunities and ensure that workplaces are equipped with the necessary tools and resources for individuals with disabilities. When we break down barriers and foster collaboration, we unlock a wealth of talent and creativity that enriches our communities and organizations. Let us come together to create a world where access is not a privilege but a right for all. #DisabilityEmploymentAwarenessMonth #HerSTEM #AccessForAll

In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness month it is important to recognize businesses that work hard everyday to create an inclusive environment. We want to honor our neighbor The Flip Side is the location of our Annual Event Legislative Breakfast on October 22nd from 8:00-10:30 am. Their mission is to create a workplace for people with disabilities, and they have created a sensory-friendly workplace for those who are neurodivergent. Everything at The Flip Side-from the lighting to the kitchen setup- was designed for the employees' needs and preferences. https://ow.ly/Yl8850TGWcZ #NationalDisabilityEmploymentAwareness #InclusiveBusiness #LegislativeBreakfast #WorkplaceInclusion #DisabilityInclusion.

In October, we proudly recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), celebrating the invaluable contributions of workers with disabilities. Did you know that 1 in 4 Americans have a disability? It’s a powerful reminder that the people we work alongside every day bring unique skills and perspectives, whether their disabilities are visible or invisible. This year’s theme, "Access to Good Jobs for All," encourages us to not only acknowledge the talents of employees with disabilities but also to actively promote a more inclusive and accessible workplace. By making small changes, we can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Let’s use this month to learn, share, and advocate for inclusivity—because when everyone has access, we all succeed together. #NDEAM #InclusionMatters #DisabilityAwareness #AccessForAll
