This week's client question of the week was "Are we going to be client question of the week for asking that?" 😂 The good news - it's pretty advanced stuff they're asking about. Here's what they wanted to know... How to maintain their internal attribution modelling for marketing mix / budget planning, whilst implementing Consent Mode Advanced v2? Pretty difficult - as you can't run Consent Mode ON/OFF in parallel can you? ...Can you? 😏 Maybe you can. Not for full release yet, but Duga Labs have been cooking and I am excited. The client is also excited as the investment they've made into custom attribution modelling (originally based on UA data schema) can be maintained with limited schema changes. And use Consent Mode to be more compliant. A better way to set expectations for businesses, understanding the likely impact of Consent Mode implementation before it happens.
