Postman is and was my greatest help as a tool in many ways! Glad to have been using it as a great tool to speed up some processes during the testing like setting up some pre defined settings on my environment. It has also helped to: 1) Better understand how my APIs in my ap work by giving me the nice JSON format of viewing the response 2) Also, it helped me a lot while troubleshooting some issues with developers 3) It helped me a lot in better understanding of APIs in general and the whole concept of API calls and API methods 4) It helped me better understand which stuff a QA Engineer can automate and how to daily run couple of requests to check if there is any issue with our endpoints 5) It saved me from running cURL commands when there is a lot of data to send, and in cURL command there can be easily hidden. I can write endless good words about Postman as tool, but the fact is that Postman saved my life , and most importantly my time due to speeding up some setup processes Happy birthday Postman 🥳🎁🎂

After 5 years in Software Engineering, here’s what I learned about LinkedIn: CRINGE.

I try to be pretty intentional about the majority of the content I share on this platform. Most of it revolves around helping others learn something I consider important. Some of it highlights the incredible work of others and gives me an excuse to brag about my brilliant friends (lol). This post is a little bit of both! I first encountered Raymond when I was exploring ways to support my community in Louisiana. Honestly, he seemed so wise and powerful that I felt instantly intimidated. But it didn’t take long for me to push past that nervousness and approach him with curiosity. What I discovered was a graciousness that has never wavered. Raymond was the first person to teach me that leadership is an active verb. That lesson alone has been transformative. It’s rare to meet someone whose natural presence embodies unique wisdom and creativity, but that’s exactly who Raymond is and always has been. Every time I sit in a room with him, I walk away having learned something new. At the recent C3 Summit hosted by METROMORPHOSIS, Raymond shook the room with a powerful truth: “If you are not well, you are not succeeding.” And just like that, the room went silent. This simple yet profound truth hit me like a ton of bricks. In a society that commodifies self-care while demonizing rest, his words feel revolutionary. It’s, moments like this that get me so hyped about this forthcoming book! Raymond is graciously enlightening so many folks alongside his partner Sherreta Harrison on the power of inter-generational leadership. His most recent project: Aging While Black is an outpouring of this tremendous work. I am so happy that more people everywhere will have access to the wisdom he generously shares with our community. One year ago, I was heading into my final semester of college with lots of unanswered questions. My cofounder and I had:
❌ No product.
❌ No technical cofounder.
❌ Very little funding. Fast forward to today—January 1st, 2025—and here’s where we stand:
1️⃣ Our first working product is live with a mainnet release coming soon (waitlist link in my bio).
2️⃣ We found a CTO and cofounder who shares our vision for bringing zero-liability fraud protection to web3.
3️⃣ We secured (and are continuing to secure) VC funding to help bring our vision to life. I’m sharing this not to sound impressive, but to encourage anyone who’s been hesitating to take the leap. When we started, I wasn’t “special.” I didn’t have all the answers or a foolproof plan. What I did have however, was a commitment: we were going to make this happen—no matter what. That mindset is everything. Yes, it will be harder than you expect. Yes, it will take longer than you think. But if you love what you’re doing, it’s worth every moment. Here’s to making 2025 the year you bet on yourself. Take the chance. Start that thing. You might be surprised where you end up. Happy New Year! 🎉🚀
