It’s the first initiative of its kind in Europe, with about PLN 250 million invested in various funds. 🌿 Prime Label Part of Innova/6, Prime Label thrives in the packaging sector, emphasizing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The firm uses innovative technologies and renewable energy, earning two Ecovadis Silver Medals in 2023. 🌿 Grupa Scanmed Scanmed has enhanced its medical services by 17% and implemented a comprehensive ESG strategy. In our discussion at the Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit in London, we also reflected on the major drivers for socially and environmentally responsible processes along our supply chains. 🔎 The truth is that juggling short term interests with an absolutely crucial long-term perspective remains a major challenge. But, implementing such fundamental changes in large organizations that engrain sustainability into each and every department, in my opinion, will be a prerequisite for future economic viability. Like all of my Centrient colleagues around the world, I’m proud of the steps we’re taking to drive environmental stewardship, building on our legacy of sustainable production practices.   A key recent highlight is opening our new Innovation Lab in Barcelona, which is dedicated to product and process innovation, and will help to strengthen our position as a sustainable leader in the generics pharmaceuticals space. Meanwhile, we’re actively working to reduce our own impact on the environment, including by setting firm, SBTi-aligned, targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.   These efforts are described in our new ESG report, covering the years 2022 and 2023. Helsinki-Uusimaa speeding up circular economy innovations together with other European top regions. – Our objective is to increase the regional research and development expenditure to 5 per cent of the region’s GDP by 2030. Being chosen a Regional Innovation Valley and a European Circular Innovation Valley cooperation partner are significant steps on our way to these targets, Mr Eero Venäläinen, Regional Development Director at the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, states.   –With the project European Circular Innovation Valley, we can share our expertise and build Europe’s largest circular economy ecosystem while providing opportunities for our businesses to join international innovation efforts, commented by Ms Christine Chang, Project Manager at the Council.
