Thank you, ShaQ Express, for highlighting the impact and possibilities of using electric mobility in last-mile delivery. At Kofa, we’re committed to building the energy infrastructure that enables businesses to thrive sustainably. By expanding our battery swap stations we’re making it simpler and more reliable for businesses like ShaQ Express to adopt electric vehicles (EVs). Anthony Owusu-Ansah is right, for many interested in the sector, challenges still exist, such as the upfront costs of EVs. That is why we advocate for more support across sectors to make EVs accessible, from local initiatives to government incentives. Together, we can accelerate Ghana’s transition to a cleaner, tech-driven logistics network that benefits everyone. ShaQ Express, let’s keep pushing boundaries. With collaboration, a sustainable future is within reach. #WeAreKofa #TogetherWeAreElectric #CleanMobility #SustainableLogistics

People often ask, “What’s the real impact of using EVs in delivery, is it worth it?” Honestly, it’s been a journey, with upsides and a few hurdles. Switching to Kofa electric motorcycles has definitely been a win for ShaQ Express in cutting emissions and saving on fuel, but it’s not without its challenges. One thing people don’t talk about enough is the infrastructure gap. Reliable charging stations are still catching up, and that’s a big factor in scaling EVs. Thanks to Kofa, which has over 10 battery swap and charging stations in Accra alone, and plans to add more, we’ve seen a big boost in our delivery operations. KOFA’s commitment to expanding charging infrastructure is a massive plus for businesses like ours, making it easier to rely on EVs for reliable, last-mile deliveries. While EVs save on fuel, the upfront investment is still a bit high for most small businesses. That’s where government incentives could make a real difference. Imagine tax breaks or subsidies for companies adopting EVs, which would not only accelerate sustainable business models but also contribute to cleaner cities. Supporting local EV initiatives and infrastructure is critical to making these gains accessible and practical for everyone. KOFA’s efforts are showing us what’s possible. With better infrastructure and the right incentives, Ghana could lead the way in sustainable, tech-driven logistics.
