I recently made a mistake when celebrating a great month in our company. We blew away our goal and I wanted to recognize our team. Instead of just congratulating our team for their great accomplishment, I threw in the dreaded "but" at the end of it. "but, next month will most likely be much different." There was no need for me to do this. I intended to shield them from a possible letdown the following month since we always have a strong January. The "but" was not necessary at that time (and probably not at all). Celebrate your wins. Recognize the success of your team - the other stuff can wait. A well-informed team already knows of the challenges that may lie ahead and is prepared to handle them. Let celebrating your wins stand on its own. Do not dilute what your team accomplished. Interestingly, February came and they beat our target for that month as well.....and did it again in March.

Celebrating a Decade of Greatness! 🎉🎈 Friends, followers, and loyal customers! Today, we are here to celebrate a spectacular milestone: our 10th anniversary as a company! 🥳🎊 Yes, you read that right! Ten years filled with laughter, challenges, and above all, success! From our humble beginnings, we've embarked on adventures that could rival the best Hollywood movies. 🎬✨ Remember when we started in the garage next to the grandmother of diaper pants, with just a tabletop lathe and a bunch of crazy ideas? Well, since then, we've grown bigger than that bunch of crazy ideas, and that's saying a lot! We've faced more obstacles than we can count: from technical issues that made us sweat more than a marathon in the desert, to emergency meetings that kept us up until the wee hours of the night. But each challenge has made us stronger, more resilient, and, well, sometimes a bit grayer due to stress, but that doesn't matter! We keep moving forward! However, it hasn't all been hard work and tears (though there were some of those too). We've shared moments of pure joy and camaraderie. So here we are, raising our cups of coffee (or tea, or juice, or whatever makes you smile in the mornings!) to toast to another 10 years of successes, challenges, and above all, fun. Thank you for 10 incredible years! The Ejematic Team 🚀🎉 #Anniversary #Celebration #10Years #SuccessStory #CompanyMilestone #TeamSpirit #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #JourneyToSuccess #CheersToTheFuture

One year at Brabners 🥳 and my first LinkedIn post in a year! 🙈 This week marks a year since I joined Brabners, and it’s also been a year since I last posted here. What’s the saying… “Time flies when you’re focusing on your clients”? Something like that, anyway… Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky to work in a place that genuinely aligns with my values. I’m the type of person who always wants to understand the “why?” behind things, and it’s been so refreshing to be encouraged to challenge the status quo and lead with curiosity in everything I do. Brabners is a space where pushing for positive change and asking the big questions is not just allowed but celebrated. A huge shoutout to Jonathan Khoo for being an incredible manager and mentor—someone who leads with their values and sets an example of what it means to lead authentically. Jon has encouraged me to forge my own path and to take risks (even though trying new things can be a bit nerve-wracking!). His trust and support have been key in making this journey so fulfilling. With each project, I feel like I’m learning something new while making a tangible difference—and that’s something I’m genuinely proud of. Here’s to seeing what the next year holds and to continuing to grow in this role! #ClientDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth #ChallengeTheStatusQuo

As we wrap up another month, I want to take a moment to remind us all of something incredibly important: the power of celebrating our wins, no matter their size. Whether today was slightly better than yesterday, this week smoother than the last, or this month more fruitful than its predecessor, each of these moments is a milestone worth recognizing. It's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of our next big goal, to constantly be looking forward, striving for more. But in doing so, we often overlook the small victories that pave our path. These wins, no matter how minor they may seem, are the building blocks of our larger successes. They deserve to be celebrated. Let's allow ourselves to pause, to appreciate these moments. Reflect on the journey you've embarked upon, the progress you've made. Remember the days when you could only dream of being where you are today, doing the things you're doing now. This reflection is not just an exercise in gratitude, but a powerful reminder of your growth and resilience. Let’s be proud of all we've encountered—the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. Each experience has contributed to our journey, shaping us for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Here's to preparing ourselves for what's next, with the wisdom gained from where we've been. Let's continue to move forward, but never forget to celebrate how far we've come.

Celebrating Three Years of Growth and Discovery This week marks my third anniversary with Epiroc, and what an incredible journey it's been! Looking back I am immensely thankful to all my colleagues and friends who shared their wisdom, supported and inspired me. When I first joined, I was stepping into a whole new world—a new industry, a new role, a new team, and even a new city. It was both exciting and overwhelming. 🤷♀️ Year One: Feeling Lost Starting a new chapter is always filled with energy and enthusiasm. I was eager to make an impact and leverage my past experiences. But, as I quickly learned, patience is key when navigating a new organization. It wasn't just about jumping in and getting things done—it was about understanding how things work, who the key players are, and how to align with the pace and cadence of the organization. It might sound simple, but learning to move in sync with the existing processes was more challenging than I anticipated. 🏋♀️ Year Two: Gaining Clarity and Making an Impact At first, it felt like progress was slow, almost like nothing was happening. But then, slowly but surely, the seeds planted during that first year started to sprout. I began to see the results of my efforts and felt a sense of clarity. I discovered that my colleagues in Learning & Development (L&D) are some of the most passionate and professional people I’ve ever met. I also realized how open Epiroc is to innovative thinking and change. However, I also learned that working in a matrix organization adds complexity, requiring a deep understanding of different dynamics and relationships. 🤹♀️ Year Three: Enjoying the Ride By the third year, I can finally take a step back and appreciate how far we’ve come. The transformations that began as ideas of L&D transformation are now tangible, making a real impact. I’m incredibly proud of what we're working on together: 🏆 We are transforming our leadership portfolio, aligning it more closely with our strategic goals and ensuring a smooth role transition. 🏆 We are modularizing our learning programs, shifting from large, one-size-fits-all programs to personalized learning journeys. 🏆 We are creating a stronger alignment and synergy of L&D activities across the organization, ensuring that every effort is cohesive and contributes to our overarching objectives and learning culture. Looking Ahead As I look to the future, I’m excited about building an even stronger L&D community. Together, we will continue our learning and transformational journey, pushing boundaries, and making a lasting impact. I’m also looking forward to harnessing the full potential of our leaders and experts at Epiroc, tapping into their diverse competencies to drive even more impactful upskilling and reskilling activities. I am starting a new year at Epiroc University. I do not know what is ahead of the curve but feeling excited about all the discoveries it will bring! #EpirocUniversity #leadership
