There is a high responsibility that we have, as media, as interpreters, as advertisers, that we have a level of consciousness over what we disseminate, and thus also what we consume as consumers when we consume. Though there are big matters in small samples, there are also big samples with small matter. This issue became more prominent as the 1960s came along. We are in a place of delusion, because advertisers have been carelessly steering their ships along, where there has been so much less of a focus on creativity, but rather on some validation of something negative for the sake of it being something to talk about or do—when in reality, we are trying so hard to untangle what has already been done throughout the generations. We are in the work of inspiring people, and we need to reinforce inspiration among us—again, not as a matter of dogma or an absolute, but as a simple principle which I will enumerate momentarily. As I’ve already stated, it isn’t wise to try to tell someone what or who to be, but it IS wise to create opportunities for people to do things and you will find an increase in public relations. Get the spiderwebs out of the parks, start reinforcing standards of keeping the communities clean—and being clean in general. To jab at who may be contributing to this issue the most aggressively is useful where it may be, but what also must be reinforced is our capacity as animals. No matter how much perfume, or how many showers, or oils and lotions, we are animals, and we smell and we perspire and we do what we are here to do.

I love the monthly calender by Action for Happiness. Today's 'Eat healthy and natural food and drink lots of water' is so important for how we feel, our energy and overall health. How can you make this easier for yourself? 👍 Keep a glass of water in the same room to remind you to drink throughout the day 👍 Enjoy some fruit instead of a glass of juice 👍 Include wholegrains, nuts and seeds 👍 Try different ways of cooking vegetables like roasting or stir fries. 👍 Experiment with herbs, spices, soy sauce, chili, lemon/lime in your cooking

Each Friday fortnight I’ll be taking a look at UK public procurement through a legal lens, including some practical tips on how to run good procurements (not just legally compliant ones…) We’ll also look at how you can best prepare for the Procurement Act with the latest guidance, commentary and templates.
