The Countdown to The Femme Table! With less than a week left until our inaugural Femme Table dinner, excitement is building! The mission is simple but powerful: to create a supportive environment where female startup founders can seamlessly connect with investors and industry experts. This fosters collaboration, provides vital capital, and shares expertise that fuels business growth. The Femme Table is: ✨ A space where female startup founders and investors can authentically connect at a deeper level than traditional meetings or events. ✨ A space that accentuates our natural strengths of empathy, adaptability, collaboration, and intuition. ✨ A space that fosters meaningful connections, fuels growth, ignites innovation, and champions diversity in the startup ecosystem. I'm proud to share that incredible female founders from emerging startups across sectors such as AI, healthcare, software, fintech, the future of work, and more will be in attendance at our first event! This event is designed to create impactful connections within our community in an intimate and thoughtful way. And I only have 2 seats left for female investors who want to meet and support these trailblazing female founders! 🔥 If you’re a female investor who’s interested in getting involved, I'd love to share more about the trailblazing female founders who will be attending and learn about your company. Let's ignite change, fuel growth, and make waves in the startup world—one fabulous dinner party at a time. 👯♀️ #TheFemmeTable #FemaleFounders

Flying back from my 1st INBOUND and what can I say, it was a great one. A few favorite moments: 1) Sharing the stage with AJ Bruno from QuotaPath to an audience of 600+ about leading effective pipeline reviews that convert to revenue. A number of people came up to say it was their favorite session from the week (?!) Beyond the impact, the energy and ease was top notch. Just another reminder how fantastic AJ and QuotaPath team ( Graham D. Collins Kelly O’Halloran and Ryan Milligan) are. I'm so honored to be an advisor 2) Getting to have lunch with Women in Tech for Harris members like Jen Spencer and Lindsay Tjepkema 3) Seeing Kara Swisher and Serena Williams chat about the space of female investing. Took many notes for the panel I'll be facilitating on Becoming an Investor at Pavilion Women's Summit in a month! 4) Meeting so many LinkedIn legends IRL like Lori Richardson and Leslie Venetz John Barrows and of course getting to give Daniel Cmejla a big ol hug 5) Crashing a GTM Fund dinner (thanks Alexa Grabell and Sophie Buonassisi for making it happen) and getting to meet Paul Irving and Vaibhavi Nesarikar, CPA, MBA! In the end, it's all about the people and the connection.

Winter Family Office Summit Recap Last week, I had the privilege of participating in the Winter Family Office Summit hosted by Freedom Capital Markets. The event brought together investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to discuss key trends shaping private markets. Key moments included: ▪️ Ed Maguire’s insights on "Ten Investment Themes for the Next Decade." ▪️ Panels on venture capital, women investing in women, creating luxury brands, and search funds. ▪️ Fireside chats with the Forever Young Foundation and leaders in tech and philanthropy. Thank you to Marcia Nelson and the Freedom Capital Markets team for organizing this insightful event. Hat tip to Christopher J. Calvert for introducing me to Marcia. If you attended, feel free to share your takeaways! #WinterFamilyOfficeSummit #PrivateMarkets #InvestmentInsights #FamilyOffices

We are transforming the future of investment for female founders! 🚀 Brilliant women with brilliant ideas struggled to secure the funding they deserved. That's when we decided it was time for a bold new chapter together with R360Growth and the founder Emma Powell. Introducing…. The Investor Readiness Retreat.📈 Over three intense days, we're tearing down the old guard and building a new one where women don't just show up—they show out. Here’s what in store for you: ↳ A clear, proven roadmap to all that an investor looks for ↳ How to communicate your business value with 100% impact ↳ We help you build pitch decks that are meant to be accepted ↳ A network to connect with potential investors and fellow women in leads This isn’t your run-of-the-mill networking event. It's a battle cry for every woman who's been underestimated, overlooked, or sidelined. We started with a promise of inclusivity, but it has transformed into a mission.💡 Mission to: - Equip women founders to command any room they walk into. Ladies, the future is yours for the taking. Let’s claim it. Click the link in the comments to apply to join the Retreat!⬇️ #womenentrepreneurs #investment #growth

Recently I asked women founders about their experiences with angel groups and angel conferences. I am deeply appreciative that so many took the time - and trust - to share with me. Based on their stories, here are some top line take-aways we’re taking seriously at FBomb Angels as we imagine the future of Pitches 2 Bitches: > Be as transparent as possible, as early as possible, about our investment thesis and decision-making process. > Be as helpful as possible, and as honest as possible, about what kind of help we can or can’t offer beyond the check. > Rethink winner-take-all scenarios where participation is a sunk cost for everyone else. > Be timely, honest, and supportive in delivering feedback. Also, invite feedback. > Respect and value the person – not just the opportunity their company represents. We don’t just want to see more women investing. We want to see more women investing differently. That means modeling how to show up at every stage of the deal, and makes our final take-away: be intentional about how we show up, at every stage of the deal.

Grateful to have been a 2024 pitch competition finalist. I also enjoyed meeting everyone at the conference and found the panel discussions valuable. MisTee Wants To Know, Inc. #IwantMisTeePRO Stella Foundation
