Representation is fundamental—it ensures that everyone can see themselves in the roles they aspire to achieve. The journey toward diversity and inclusion can never be about lowering standards to meet a quota, these efforts must always be dedicated to broadening access and maintaining high expectations for all. Witness here these 21 trailblazing women from the USMMA Class of 1995! A group of women who have again set the bar higher, proving that when given the access and fair opportunity, diverse candidates do not just meet but often exceed the standards. Their success is a testament to why we must keep pushing for equitable representation. As a member of the following class, looking up to these leaders, I've seen firsthand the incredible impact of of their lives, as role models in shaping ambitious, resilient future leaders. As we continue to strive for a more inclusive environment across all sectors of our society, let's remember that true progress comes from expanding opportunity and embracing diversity, ensuring that everyone—regardless of gender, race, or background—has the chance to reach their fullest potential. Thanks to #NewZealand, the Chair, and others for encouraging public access to working papers from the #GGE on #PAROS. These 26!!!!!! papers demonstrate fantastic engagement with the means and methods of legal approaches to maintaining peace in outer space, and help to make the discussion more open and accessible. Special shoutout to the paper by #Canada on #gender considerations. Take a run through all of the topics to see how your own research might help to inform the discussion and/or how you can build on some of these themes. https://lnkd.in/esjqSAaE

The theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024 in Canada is Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. It’s a call to action and a reminder that gender equality is one of the most effective ways to build healthier, more prosperous, and more inclusive communities. https://lnkd.in/gT7Zrvqj #investinwomen
