SafeDAO Proposal: Community-Aligned Fees to Generate $2.5M Annually via SafeDAO What do you think about SafeDAO's new revenue proposal? Christoph and Andre from the Safe Ecosystem Foundation have proposed creating SafeDAO’s first revenue stream through community-aligned fees. The plan involves using Native Swaps in Safe{Wallet} and generating revenue via third-party integrations through a licensing model. The collected fees would be converted into SAFE tokens and transferred to SafeDAO's account, potentially bringing in around $2.5M annually. Community reactions are largely positive. Users like karpatkey, v3naru, Nneoma_StableLab, and LuukDAO support the proposal, highlighting its importance for economic sustainability and ecosystem growth. However, jthor has raised questions about the fee tiers. Key benefits include the convenience and security of Native Swap implementation, competitive pricing, and high potential use cases like recurring payments and staking. Demand Dynamics: DUCA’s yield drives demand for DUCA, which in turn requires DCM. As demand for DUCA grows, so does the demand for DCM. Ecosystem Growth: The growth of the ecosystem increases demand for DCM from both the market and the protocol, driving up its price.
