Under FP3-IAM4Rail Work Package 10, ADIF, Ceit Centro Tecnológico and voestalpine Railway Systems have installed two intelligent turnout demonstrators.   These demonstrators aim to implement a multi-source, multi-purpose intelligent asset management solution for railway infrastructure monitoring. A standard mixed traffic and a high-speed turnout have been equipped with novel monitoring technologies.   The monitoring systems focus on tracking the health status of the turnouts, detecting and preventing faults, and assisting ADIF in maintaining the asset performance, availability, efficiency and safety of their infrastructure.   Many thanks to the entire team that made the deployment of these use cases in ADIF's infrastructure possible, from the technologists to the ADIF Maintenance teams, who have been cooperative at all times. Still, there are some other key names behind the scenes that are integral to the aircraft formation process. One such company is Austria's F. LIST GMBH, which traces its history back to 1950 when Franz List Senior founded the business. The Thomasberg-based outfit is currently headed by Katharina List-Nagl, who took over as #CEO from her father in Franz List in 2017. - Covering ground across the industry Simple Flying was invited to tour the facilities of F-List in Lower Austria last week.
