For the Oil and Gas people. What would y'all think if I told y'all there was a program in Oklahoma that for less than $30k you could send a brand new maintenance hire to school for 10 months and they would come out the other side with 1432 hours of instruction from basic electronics, solid state electronics, variable frequency drives, PLC diagnostics, networking, and programming, welding, basic machining, hydraulics troubleshooting and repair, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair? A technician, that if successful in the program, could be sent out with equipment documentation and tools and be successful in diagnostics and repair of most equipment.

I found an air compressor technician in California who is A non-job hopper. A rotary screw and centrifugal compressor expert He is experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering, past the compressor. HE was only asking for 30.00 per hour!? There is an old saying- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is I had to ask the candidate directly. “ You sound too good to be true; what is the catch?” “ Are you an ax murder?????” Candidate “ ha, no, sir. I am a worn-out tech who has worked hard in the field.” “ I know my value, but I’m looking for a company that wants me to focus on resolving the issues.” “I am methodical with my work and don’t take shortcuts.” “I am not the fastest. I am a tortoise, not a hare. Everything I do is based on the long term.” A good recruiter can uncover what is not being said. This conversation has led to a custom job speciation from my client. They have found not only their air compressor tech but also a team member with whom they can plan long-term growth.

An important note for us Instrumentation Technicians, An Instrumentation Technician should not know how to only touch the Instruments such as: sensors, transmitters, valves, etc... An Instrumentation Technician should know: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electricity, Electronic, Automation, DCS, Programming, Analysers and Fire and Gas Systems. All these areas have made you a complete Instrumentation Technician, capable of solving all kinds of troubleshoot that appear to you during work. You should also understand production for better intervention It's not difficult, however, it's not so easy.

💥 Let's talk pain points. In my conversations with clients, a recurring challenge emerges: the struggle to source qualified individuals for their Maintenance vacancies. Within the Industrial domain, it's evident that Maintenance Technicians aren't one-size-fits-all. The nuanced demands of various industries necessitate distinct skill sets. A Food and Beverage Maintenance Technician, for instance, possesses a vastly different skill set compared to their counterpart in Plastics Maintenance. Moreover, the disparities extend across Manufacturing, Production, and Logistics environments. That's where I come in 😎 . You want a Tech with heavy electrical and PLC knowledge with a background in Food and Bev? I got him. Looking for a skilled Tech with expert knowledge in conveyor systems and automation, and experience in a Manufacturing setting? Look no further – meet Alex! CNC Maintenance? Yep. Heavy electrical experience? Yep Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Boilers, Pumps, Etc? Uh-huh. Them too. Just give me your shopping list, sit back, and let my team do the ground work. 💪 Remember, interviews are complimentary 💃 How can we help you today? #DFWRecruitment #MaintenanceStaffing #HiringSolutions #Randstadusa
