LEADERS AND MANAGERS SHOULD PROMOTE TEAM BONDING INCLUSIVELY: Leaders and managers advocating alcohol-fueled bonding sessions are undermining empowerment. Such practices exclude non-drinkers and perpetuate unhealthy workplace norms. True cohesion stems from inclusivity, respect, and shared values, not alcohol consumption. By prioritizing alcohol-centric gatherings, they diminish diverse voices and foster an environment of exclusion. Employees deserve environments where their choices and well-being are respected, not pressured conformity. Effective leadership empowers through inclusive activities that celebrate differences and foster genuine connections. Let's reject outdated notions of camaraderie built on alcohol and embrace a culture of inclusivity and respect, where everyone's power is honored and valued.
