It helps us all prepare better and ensures no one is scrambling at the last minute. 💻 Establish a super user-friendly digital leave management system. It's a game-changer, making it so much easier for everyone to check available leave slots and schedule their downtime. 🏝️ Transparency is key! Make sure everyone knows who's out of office and when. It really helps in planning work and knowing who to reach out to for help. 🧘♀️ Promote a culture where taking leave is totally encouraged. After all, we all deserve a break, and coming back recharged can only mean great things for our work. Office time: 9:30 AM 10:00 AM – Arrive at the office for whatever XYZ reason (Traffic, Maid came late, etc.) 10:15 AM – Go for coffee/breakfast, back by 11:00 AM. After a few emails/tasks... 12:45 PM – Start asking colleagues about lunch. Some "pretend-to-be-busy" types will stretch it out until 1:15 PM, making the whole group wait. 1:45 PM – Finish lunch and go for a walk. Don’t take the lift, take the stairs—because health is important and this might be the only time you can exercise during the day. 2:00 - 2:15 PM – Back to the desk. 4:30 PM – Snacks and chai break, back by 5:15 PM. And I haven’t even counted the Sutta breaks, desk distractions like Instagram reels, Whatsapp etc. Staying late at the office until 8:30 or 9:00 PM. Claiming cab reimbursement and framing it as a 12-hour workday by saying, "Kal raat bhi 9 baje tak baitha tha bhai, bohot zyada kaam hai" In all honesty, everyone absolutely deserves a good boss, a healthy work culture, a good office, and a great organization—without a doubt. But I have just one question: 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝟖𝐡𝐫𝐬 ? Answer for yourself. If the answer is an "Honest Yes" and the boss still expects you to work late everyday or regularly on weekends, just leave. It’s not worth it. Nothing more, Nothing less, No Drama, Just leave. Period.
