At the Delphy ISFC Field Day, we not only showcased the Trutina Blueberry and Strawberry platforms but also our new integrated sensor, the Diameter Monitoring Sensor. The device was originally intended to measure changes in the diameter of tree trunks. However, it is also suitable for detecting the growth of #berry fruits, which provides valuable information for growers about the growth rate of the berries. Gremon Systems successfully integrated this device into their Trutina plant diagnostic and monitoring system, allowing growers to gain valuable experience and knowledge with the use of it. The sensor takes measurements every 5 seconds and has a sensitivity of 0.002 mm. These features enable growers to monitor the effects of irrigation rates and growth. They can optimize their irrigation schedules based on real-time data. Additionally, the sensor is excellent for real-time monitoring of the plants' water balance and allows for the immediate detection of any potential water loss.

Hoses are used to distribute water in domestic and industrial applications. Traditionally, irrigation hoses, such as the standard garden hose, are made from PVC.
