It's the worst part of job hunting... OK, maybe not the worst. But applying to these jobs is awful, cutting and pasting every separate bit (by bit, by bit, by bit) of info from the resume you've already attached, that mirrors your LinkedIn profile... Getting excited about a job that looks like a great match... And then... Nuttin'. Ghosts. All so a slimy HR team (and I'm not calling HR slimy, I'm saying the teams that do this are) can reach quotas. I guess the good part is, they out themselves as companies I'd rather not work for, thanks. Tip for non-slimy HR teams: Use Easy Apply on LinkedIn. Applicants will love you!!! If we're serious applicants, our profiles are en pointe!! It's all there. 🙂

What?! How are #fake job listings acceptable? Watch Andrew LaCivita's YouTube video to hear his insight. https://lnkd.in/gFZYzDKb "I glanced over a #survey from Resume Builder very recently (not a site I recommend, but they ran the survey so what the hey, right?). A few key findings… 40% of companies posted a fake job listing this year. 30% of companies currently have active fake listings. 70% of hiring managers believe posting fake jobs is morally acceptable."

📌Friday Tip from a Recruiter: Utilize your LinkedIn! Treat it as your online Resume/CV. Most recruiters including me use LinkedIn to reach out to potential candidates. Make sure to put your Job title in your bio and all your experiences in your profile. An 'open to work' frame is also very useful! Including your Education background and Certifications is certainly a big plus as well. jobhunting tips. Hope this helps! 😉 Follow for more.

Two ways to cut down time on your job search. >Purple banners. Click on the roles and you can see every role they are working on. Look to connect with people who have purple banners up in your niche industry. >Setting up job alerts for newly posted jobs. This is a big one as getting into the system with the first batch of resumes is important to increase your chances of getting eyes on your resume. Work smarter, not harder.
