A recent survey by Korn Ferry reveals that nearly 3 in 4 CEOs in India have experienced imposter syndrome, the highest among markets like West Asia, the US, UK, Australia, and Brazil. Pressure from promoters and boards, regulatory risks, and disruptive business environments are major contributors to this phenomenon. However, despite feeling overwhelmed, 90% of Indian CEOs feel competent and know what's expected of them, and 84% are satisfied in their roles.
